"What if the Mystery Ended This Way...?" is a SpongeBob SquarePants The Great Patty Caper short. In this short, alternate endings are shown for the mystery from "The Great Patty Caper".

Synopsis
A policeman along with his two friends (one is short while the other one is big and muscular) decides to reveal the true identity of the fish. He then pulls off the fish's mask only to find Squidward instead of Orin J. Ruffy. So he repeats to pull off the same fish's mask only to find Sandy. He does it again only to find Patrick laughing. Finally, he pulls the mask off only to find SpongeBob. However, SpongeBob pulls off the policeman's mask to reveal he was Orin J. Ruffy. Ruffy runs away and French Narrator says "That was unexpected."
