I have noticed a huge misconception in regards to the background characters Frank and Dave. Here are their pictures:
Frank (above)
"Dying for Pie" (name revealed)
Dave (above)
"Valentine's Day" (name revealed)
In the Frank template, there is a probable error stating that "in Valentine's Day his name was Dave." This proves that the two of them are either hard to differentiate or they are the same character. They are the same color and even where the same clothes.
The only difference of the two are their eyes; Dave has eyes above above his head, and Frank has eyes where they are normally located. The Dave article mentions this.
If this were the case, almost all of Frank's listed appearances are actually Dave's. Some pictures regarding the discrepancy can be seen below.
From "Krusty Towers"
If Frank and Dave are different characters, this is DAVE, not Frank (left of Eugene H. Krabs).
From "No Hat for Pat"
Again, if Frank and Dave are different characters, this is DAVE, not Frank (next to Eugene H. Krabs).
I could not find Frank's picture in any other episode besides "Dying for Pie." If you find one, please link it below (remember, the eyes would have to be located in the normal position).
Now I could be wrong. The way I see it, there are two possibilities:
A. Frank is an one-appearance character. All the episodes except "Dying for Pie" that Frank appears in is actually Dave. If this were the case, all the info except for the info on "Dying for Pie" would have to be moved to Dave's character page. Also, the episodes' character lists would have to be adjusted.
B. Dave is actually Frank. Dave is not a real character, possibly just a nickname. If this were the case, Dave would have to be redirected to Frank.
Please tell me what you think of this (A or B), and if you find one, post an image of Frank (the one with the eyes located in the regular position) besides the one from "Dying for Pie."
