Hey there, all you ESB people. I have created so called "Contracts" for a few blocked users. I'll explain contracts, how they work, and how they could get violated.
A contract is a piece I create for a user, on SBA wiki. I create it after they make a request to be unblocked. Now, they are not totally unblocked. They are unblocked yes, but the contract prevents that user from doing anything an Administrator would view unfit. Their contracts, are created by me, and enforced by me, and any Administrator.
For the contract to work, the user comes to my message wall on SpongeBob Answers Wiki. They file a reqeust, and will get a response within 24 hours. I review the request, and their contributions here. If any Administrator sees the Contract as unfit, and gives a valid reason, the contract will not go through.
Contracts are for those users who made a mistake, recognize the mistake, and want to make it right.
Terms in the contract will be set by me, on my SBA wall. The terms are set for the user, and are set for a set amount of time. The time limit does expire, but to my, and/or other Administrator choosing.
If a user violates any terms on the contract, they can be blocked by any Administrator here. If a user violates the terms after the contract date expires, they can be blocked, by any Administrator as this is a normal circumstance.
ADMINISTRATORS: If you don't like a contract, you are able to voice your thoughts on it, under the request message over @ SBA. If any Administrator sees a violation of the contract, they are able to block a user.
SEVERAL IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE: 1)Tanhamman will be the contract manager. This reduces other stresses to other Administrators.
2) DO NOT file a request on my wall @ Fanonia SpongeBobia. It will not be accepted.
3) When your first contract is violated, and you are blocked, DO NOT file another request. It will not be accepted.
What TANHAMMAN does[]
I will file requests, and post them on the offenders wall, here at ESB. Then, the offender will be unblocked by me.
What the BLOCKED does[]
The blocked user files the request. They then agree to the contract set on their wall. They follow the contract, until it expires.
IMPORTANT: If the user does not accept the terms, either on their wall, or on my wall at SBA, they will NOT be unblocked.
What the ADMINISTRATION does[]
Nothing. Well, not really nothing. They make sure the user does not violate the terms, or do anything against the rules. If they do, the Administrator has all control to re-block a user.
Final Words[]
Remember, if someone doesn't want the person unblocked, they may speak so. 1 request per block. No more.
User contracts will be posted on the blocked's wall. A list will be kept on users under contracts.
This is a test run, and will be monitored by Tanhamman, to see the success rate, and the usage. Another blog post will be posted in the future, if the project will or won't continue.
