What you are about to hear may disturb some Spongebob fans, especially parents that enjoy watching the show with their child, but there's a lot of conspiracy stuff going on about this show. It stated that Spongebob, a fast-paced fantasy television show, is proven to cause learning problems and ADHD in children. An experiment has been made involving 60 children around the age of four and are broken up into three groups: one group watched 9 minutes of Spongebob, another watched 9 minutes of a slow-paced show like Calliou and the other group given paper, pencil abs crayons to draw. Later, the children were involved in tasks that required focusing and following directions and it turns out that the children that we're watching Spongebob did the poorest.
This conspiracy is also made on other children shows like Sesame Street. The unrelated, fast-paced and unrealistic content on the show caused short-term mental distraction and disorders or on a long-term, can trigger ADHD.
And Spongebob also features weird and disturbing things like the skin of characters being ripped off to show flesh, when characters twist their heads 180 degrees across among other dangerous and disgusting things.
So, how do you fell about Spongebob? Would you let your child watch it?
