Hi, welcome to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia, the wiki about SpongeBob SquarePants that anyone can edit! The reason you obtained this automated message was because you had recently made an edit to the Eek, an Urchin! page.
Well there was an experiment performed by pediatrics and psychologists with 60 children and divided them in groups of three: one was watching Spongebob for 9-10 minutes, one was watching Calliou for 9-10 minutes and one was given paper and crayons to draw pictures. Later the children were to do tasks that required focus and following directions and the results were that the children that were watching Spongebob did more poorly in following directions and focusing than the children that watched Calliou and the ones that drew. This is because Spongebob is fast-paced while Calliou was slow-paced and coloring had to do with creativity. Similar statements were made for Sesame Street for its fast, unrelated segments and that it could trigger ADHD.
