The Moth is one of Mermaid Man's arch nemeses whom he has been tracking down for 57 years. He appears in the episodes "Night Light," "Mermaid Man Begins," and "Squid Noir," and is voiced by Mark Hamill.
Description
He is muscular, has a light brown body, a pale-green head, dark orange antennae, pale-gren hands, giant light yellow wings, and red eyes. He wears a pale-green speedo.
The Moth is an underwater, small, miniature insect who wears a typical superhero suit but is a villainous bug.
Role in episode
"Night Light"
He is attracted to all of the light given off at SpongeBob's house, especially the lighthouse. SpongeBob traps him inside said lighthouse, but he escapes by carrying it inside the cage, and he flies away.
"Mermaid Man Begins"
He appears as one of the Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy action figures owned by SpongeBob.
"Squid Noir"
He once again appears as an action figure.

- He is voiced by Mark Hamill (actor of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars, the voice of The Joker in most of the Batman animated series, and voices Skips in Regular Show).
- He resembles the famed monster, Mothman, with wings and red eyes.
- The Moth looks similar to Superman, the Owlman, and Mothman.
- He is also a parody of the Killer Moth.
