SpongeBob is trying to cook Krabby Patties on a train. Help SpongeBob's friends protect the patties from Plankton's robots that are riding on seahorses. Click on a character and drag the mouse over to one of Plankton's robots to attack. Destroying a robot gives the player gears. Gears are used to increase character levels in the shop (which increases damage and attack speed and decreases cooldown time, while also improving their special ability except Patrick's), but only one character can be upgraded at a time.
Plankton's robots may also have different amounts of health. The goal is to survive waves of robots and protect SpongeBob's patties. Every character throws different foods and deals different amounts of damage and has different attack speeds and cooldown times. Patrick throws fries. He attacks quickly and has no cooldown but deals low damage. Mr. Krabs throws milkshakes. He deals an average amount of damage and has an average attack speed and cooldown time. He will give the character more gears if he is the character who destroys the robot. Squidward throws ketchup. He deals slightly less damage than Mr. Krabs and has an average attack speed and cooldown time. He can also stun robots. Sandy throws mustard. She has a wider range than other characters and deals very high damage but has a slow attack speed and a long cooldown time.
Every three waves there is a "lightning round," in which multiple robots will approach at greater speeds. The player has three Krabby Patties to protect, which work like lives. If a robot gets too close to SpongeBob, it will steal a Krabby Patty. He will cook a new Krabby Patty at the end of the wave if the player loses one. Lose all the Krabby Patties and the game ends.
The code is "steam." It upgrades all characters by one level.
The entire game is in sepia-tone. However, the characters, Krabby Patties, robots, seahorses, and the train retain their color while also being a bit yellow.
The characters and robots are all dressed in a 1940s Western-noir style.
