Synopsis

The morning after SpongeBob's tea party, Patrick wakes up to see SpongeBob, who has a donut held in his hand. Since SpongeBob is knocked out, Patrick takes the donut. When he arrives home, he is just about to eat it when he remembers SpongeBob saying, "This kind of donut can really make a guy happy…". He then thinks he has stolen SpongeBob's donut.

His phone then rings, with SpongeBob on the other line. He says he will be right over to Patrick's house with a tape of the night before. After Patrick realises that the tape will show him taking SpongeBob's donut, he runs around his house, trying to hide it. SpongeBob comes over and Patrick admits to taking the donut, and then SpongeBob says it is all right for him to take the donut. He shows Patrick the tape that shows him giving the donut to him as a birthday present. Patrick then pulls the donut (although, nearly spoiled), splits it in half and asks SpongeBob if he wants to share. SpongeBob accepts as he eats the half donut, only to make him sick and Patrick says, "Pretty good, huh?" before the episode ends.

Trivia

Template:Trivia

  • This is the third episode in which most of the episode takes place inside Patrick's house. The first was "I'm with Stupid" and the second was "Rise and Shine."
  • When SpongeBob steps on the donut, jelly squirts out. However, when Patrick splits the donut, there is no jelly. When the jelly came out, Patrick was thinking it would happen, so perhaps the jelly was his imagination.
  • This is the second appearance of a donut. The first was in "Rock-a-Bye Bivalve" and the third was in "Ghoul Fools."
  • On the title card, The classic Castle Thunder sound effects can be heard.
  • Patrick falling repeatedly from his "attic" is similar to him falling repeatedly from Mount Climb-up and Fall-off in "Valentine's Day."
  • Patrick's donut appeared again in the DS version of SpongeBob's Truth or Square.
  • When Patrick is talking to Angel Donut and Devil Donut, he says, "I hate sprinkles!" but the donut is covered in sprinkles when he ate it.
  • This is the second episode to have sound effects on title card. The first was "Karate Island."
  • This is the tenth episode where it's title card is animated. The ninth was "All That Glitters."
  • There is no bubble transition between the opening credits and the start of the episode. Instead, there is a wipe to Patrick's closed eyes.
  • In a flashback, SpongeBob and Patrick were having a tea party, and the same stuffed animals SpongeBob obtained from "Skill Crane." It takes place after that episode.

Errors

  • When Patrick is outside, he has underpants on, but when goes into his rock, his pants are on.
  • When Patrick fell off from the "attic," SpongeBob would've seen him with the donut.
  • SpongeBob said he filmed the whole thing, but when he puts the video cassette in Patrick's VCR, it only plays from where SpongeBob gives Patrick the donut for his birthday.
