- This is the only season to not contain any double-length episodes.
- The Nick version of "Pizza Delivery" is shown instead of the YTV version (on YTV broadcast only, Squidward's ending line "Oh, my aching tentacles" was removed).
- The DVD also contains short trailers for various Nickelodeon shows.
- This DVD release was rated PG in Canada for brief and mild violence: it is the only seasonal DVD release in the country to have this rating. Seasons 2-8 onward are rated G in Canada.
