Graveyard Shift: Extended Version[]
Plot[]
8pm, Krusty Krab is about to close, but Tom walks up and asks for a Krabby Patty deluxe, but Squidward denies for obviouos reasons, he has a life. Mr. Krabs suddenly appears and, after hearing he'll get more money, deems the Krusty Krab open 24 hours a day, much to Spongebob's excitement and Squidward's disappointment. At around 11:30pm, Krusty Krab still has cutomers. Spongebob sings his night montage while doing various things (at night), like swabbing the bathroom, varnishing the safe, chopping lettuce, and delivering floorboard Harry's mail. After Spongebob takes out the trash, Squidward decides to scare Spongebob with the story of the "Hash-Slinging Slasher", which spongebob confuses the name with for Sash-Wring, Crash-Winging, Dash-Zinging. Squidward says the Hash-Slinging Slasher was a fry cook like Spongebob, only clumsier. And one night, he cut off his own hand, and replaced it with a rusty old Spatula. He was later hit by a bus and killed, and was fired at his funeral. And every tuesday night, he returns as a ghost to the Krusty Krab to seek his revenge, and that this episode takes place on a tuesday night. He then says 3 signs signaling his approach. Flickering lights, phone ringing with nooone on the other line, and ghost of bus that killed him, he then slowly approaches and "gets" you (which is implied to be synonymous with KILL). Spongebob starts screaming his head off (figuratively). Squidward then tells Spongebob he was joking, spongebob then starts laughing.
At about 3m, all the customers except Patrick are asleep. The lights flicker and Squidward assumes it's Spongebob, and vice versa. The phone starts ringing, and then the Hash Slinging Slasher arrives. Spongebob calls Mr. Krabs, who quickly comes to defend his money. Everybody starts panicking, including floorboard harry, who holds a sign out of his hole reading "I Surrender". The Hash Slinging Slasher is revealed to be a normal person wating a job app. Squidward the questions who was flickering the lights. Nosferatu (in a doctored image) appers flicking a light switch on/off. Everyone points saying Nosferatu (except Floorboard Harry, who just holds up a sign saying "Nosferatu"). Then Nosferatu (in another doctored imagee) smiles mischeivously, then the screen goes black with a flickering sound, and the episode ends.
