"Sweet Victory" is a very popular rock ballad performed by David Glen Eisley.^[1] It was used in the episode "Band Geeks." It is one of the semi-common occasions that SpongeBob's singing actor is not Tom Kenny. A full version of this song was first heard in 2007.

Trivia

The song was initially released in 1986. However, some fans say that it was written specifically for the episode.
This is the second song where SpongeBob sings, but his voice was not provided by Tom Kenny. The first was the Ripped Pants song.
The song is used in WWE's The American Dream: The Dusty Rhodes Story documentary, released on DVD in 2006. It is played during a montage showcasing a famous cage match between Dusty Rhodes and Ric Flair.^[2]^[3]
