Stopped Clock is a book published by Scholastic. SpongeBob's clock stopped working. With an off-scheduled day, the rest of the day's events are terrible. Can he resolve his problems?

Plot

The book starts with SpongeBob waking up, alarmed that his clock did not go off and he was late for work. He then trips over his pet rock and spills his juice box. When getting the mop, he finds it is in a knot. When he exits the door, he remembers he did not lock the front door. When telling Squidward that he is late for work along with himself, Squidward reminds him it is a holiday. SpongeBob then laughs at the fact that "holidays are great for not setting the alarm."
