Squidward's brain is an internal organ in Squidward Tentacles' head. It first appears in the episode "Squidtastic Voyage."

Role in series

"Squidtastic Voyage"

It is among Squidward's organs seen by SpongeBob and Patrick after they go inside Squidward to find his clarinet reed.

"Breath of Fresh Squidward"

At the beginning of this episode, it rains because of Squidward's anger, but later, when he gets an electric shock and becomes happy, a rainbow appears.

"What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?"

Towards the end, after SpongeBob returns to Bikini Bottom, Squidward opens his head and throws his brain into the garbage can.

"Suction Cup Symphony"

Squidward's brain is again raining, but the rain halts and is replaced by a rainbow when Squidward comes up with a good musical symphony.

"Eek, an Urchin!"

Squidward's brain is seen in the shape of a drum, popping out of his right ear to represent the pain inflicted upon him due to hearing SpongeBob scream into the Krusty phone.

"Bunny Hunt"

Squidward hits his head to see that the sea bunnies are in his house and acts a like sea bunny.

"Drive Happy"

Squidward is in shock upon seeing SpongeBob "drive" a fancy self-driving car, so he uses the eraser of a pencil to erase his brain cells and delete this moment from his memory. After he puts his brain back in his head, he asks in a bumbling voice, "What's a SpongeBob?"

Trivia

  • Squidward's brain only has one happy gland.
  • In "Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful," it is revealed that one of Squidward's brain veins says, "I am angry" in all caps.
