Synopsis[]

At the Krusty Krab, SpongeBob tells Squidward to look in the kitchen window as he is about to make a Krabby Patty bounce off the refrigerator, fly through the hoop, and land right on the grill. Squidward says he doesn't care about this. SpongeBob flips the patty and it bounces off of the refrigerator and lands in the middle of the grill. Squidward then goes back to watching television.

Just then, Squidward's program is interrupted by the famous news reporter Perch Perkins. He reports that Bikini Bottom is going to host its first ever charity golf tournament with world-famous golfer, Annika Swordfish. Continuing the report, on Saturday, one lucky citizen who entered the contest shall get to play against her in a friendly game. All proceeds go to fixing up the Bikini Bottom Library. SpongeBob is excited by this and enters himself in the contest to play against Annika Swordfish.

On Thursday night, all of Bikini Bottom is at the Krusty Krab. The mayor stepped up to the giant glass bowl full of names and pulls out one. It is revealed that SpongeBob SquarePants is the winner of the contest. SpongeBob is so happy that he jumps and accidentally flings his spatula. The patty he had been flipping sails across the room, right into the bowl of leftover names.

The day before the tournament, SpongeBob goes to practice. He wanted to make sure his hips were squared off and his grip was perfect. Patrick cheers him on and SpongeBob swings his club. The ball goes rolling across the bridge, over the fence, and straight into the eighth hole. SpongeBob says to Patrick that he wants to raise enough money to repair the library.

On Saturday morning SpongeBob wakes up early, gets dressed in his best golf outfit, and rushes over to Patrick's house. Patrick is all ready and he's SpongeBob's caddy who carries his clubs for him. SpongeBob and Patrick walk to the golf game. At the Bikini Bottom Shell Club, the grounds of the golf course are newly groomed and excitement is in the air. Townspeople, fans, TV crews, and photographers have gathered to see Annika Swordfish. Everyone wants to get a picture or an interview. There were even some stars, like Grubby Grouper, Jessica Albacore, and Justin Beardfish, who had come to watch the golf tournament. The Mayor announces it's the first Bikini Bottom classic and all proceeds from the event will go to the Bikini Bottom Library. SpongeBob and Annika shake hands and then walk off together towards the tee box. SpongeBob says he is a big fan and Ms. Swordfish looks forward to playing with him.

As they walk, SpongeBob realizes he can't see an obstacle for what seemed like miles. SpongeBob whispers to Patrick about this and he replies that big golf doesn't have obstacles. SpongeBob is shocked by this fact and also notices that Annika's Cabby is carrying a lot of different clubs. SpongeBob is confused by this and Patrick explains to him that unlike miniature golf, big golf requires a few clubs. There are woods, wedges, irons, and putters. SpongeBob says that he can't find the holes for miles. Finally, it was time to tee off.

Annika goes first. She asks her caddy for a driver and then took her swing. Her ball goes flying at least two-hundred yards across the fairway. SpongeBob is so shocked that his jaw drops to the ground and his eyes nearly pop out of his head. Then it is SpongeBob's turn. He lifts his club and swings. The ball rolls gently and stops a few feet away from the tee. The crowd gasps.
