SpongeBob Moves In! is a city-building app that lets you experience what it is like to be in Bikini Bottom. It also provides information on characters that was not told in the show. The player will learn about Sandy before going into the Ocean and get to see tons of short videos with all of the characters in the show. The player will also get to see Bikini Bottom grow as the player builds Bikini Bottom up.

Criticism
This app has been under criticism because prices for coins and jellyfish for in app purchases are from $0.99 to $99.99.

Errors
- One of Mr. Krabs' eyes floats above him when his other eye is just standing.
- Rusty's Rib Eye is called Rusty's Ribeye.
- When you give someone flowers or a drink, he or she does the same action as he or she does when receiving food. (i.e. it looks like they are eating the flowers or drink)
- When the Krusty Krab is making food the Krabby Patty sign in the left window has a guy in front of the sign.
- Mr. Krabs' house is misspelled to as "Mr. Krab's House."
- In the July 9, 2014 update, while something's being made, the numbers of time it takes to make glitch up. It can only be fixed by completely exiting the app and reloading it.
- It also happens to peoples' names, etc.
- When Squidward is happy after receiving his food/drink/flowers, he does not have eyebrows.
- When a plant or object is ready to be removed, it shows a bubble with an XP star inside of it. But sometimes, the star can hide behind an object, but the bubble is fully visible.
- Some of the items are stretched out in either the bubble when it is done or the box where you select it to make it.
- The characters are way to big in size compared to the buildings.
- Example: SpongeBob is half the size as The Reef.
