SpongeBob Moves In! is a city-building app that lets you experience what it is like to be in Bikini Bottom. It also provides information on characters that was not told in the show. The player will learn about Sandy before going into the Ocean and get to see tons of short videos with all of the characters in the show. The player will also get to see Bikini Bottom grow as the player builds Bikini Bottom up.

SpongeBob Moves In! features a bunch of houses and shops featured on the show.

  • This game reveals that Pearl watches The Adventures of Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy. It can be found out by tapping on her and see that one of her options is watching the show.
  • For a short time there was a "Patchy's Bikini Bottom" thing where the player could see "Patchy's" Bikini Bottom. It was removed shortly after. It is unknown why it was removed. It returned in the January 15, 2015 update.
  • This game was released seven years after Nick Picks Volume 4 was released and five years after House Fancy premiered.

  • One of Mr. Krabs' eyes floats above him when his other eye is just standing.
  • Rusty's Rib Eye is called Rusty's Ribeye.
  • When you give someone flowers or a drink, he or she does the same action as he or she does when receiving food. (i.e. it looks like they are eating the flowers or drink)
  • When the Krusty Krab is making food the Krabby Patty sign in the left window has a guy in front of the sign.
  • Mr. Krabs's house is misspelled as "Mr. Krab's House."
  • In the July 9, 2014 update, while something's being made, the numbers of time it takes to make glitch up. It can only be fixed by completely exiting the app and reloading it.
    • It also happens to peoples' names, etc.
  • When Squidward is happy after receiving his food/drink/flowers, he does not have eyebrows.
  • When a plant or object is ready to be removed, it shows a bubble with an XP star inside of it. But sometimes, the star can hide behind an object, but the bubble is fully visible.
  • Some of the items are stretched out in either the bubble when it is done or the box where you select it to make it.
  • The characters are way too big in size compared to the buildings.
    • Example: SpongeBob is half the size as The Reef.
  • Every once in a while, a product will not come out. The only way to fix it is to make another product in that same area or wait if you have another product being made (in that same area).
  • Sometimes while there's a coin icon or an XP star floating in a bubble on top on object, a quarter of the bubble will be cut and spin in a circle.
  • In the October 2014 update:
    • The numbers for the time remaining on something are longer than the boxes.
    • Mr. Krabs is misspelled as "Mr Krabs."
    • Old Man Jenkins is called "HillBilly." It is especially odd due to the fact that his house is called "Jenkins' House."
    • After the normal Nickelodeon logo appears, it turns to the side and is squished.
    • On the Loading/Title Screen there is a code that isn't supposed to be there.
    • Everyone got a image when you went into their profile. However, Stan the Elf did not.
    • On the Firey Fist O' Pain, the laser is always on. However, the cart goes right through the laser without being split in half.
