"SpongeBob's Start" is a SpongeBob SquarePants DVD bonus feature. In this feature, Stephen Hillenburg talks about his idea for SpongeBob and the creation of his world. It can be found in the Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies DVD.
Synopsis
This feature is split into three segments.
Show Idea
Stephen Hillenburg discusses how his studies of marine science and marine biology play a role into his making of the characters for SpongeBob SquarePants. He describes how his vision of a sponge and SpongeBob's square design work for the optimist main character.
