Snellie is a female snail and Squidward's pet that only appeared in the episode The Great Snail Race.
History
She has only appeared in the episode The Great Snail Race, where she had to race against Gary. Squidward kept Snellie away from Gary because of his hatred of Gary and SpongeBob. Gary was being pushed too hard by SpongeBob and got hurt badly. Snellie went back to him instead of finishing the race to see if he was okay. In the end, Gary and Snellie seemed to have fallen in love with each other and went off the track together. Snellie and Gary tend to be partners, but she has not been shown with Gary in any other episodes. It is unknown if she is still Squidward's pet. Snellie and Gary probably aren't dating anymore since Gary fell in love with Mary in the episode Gary in Love.

- A snail similar to Snellie appeared in The Sponge Who Could Fly, as a pet of Mrs.Puff.
- Snellie's Snail carrier is a collectible item in Truth or Square. When it is viewed in the hub, Snellie's eyes poke out, along with Snellie's meowing, before they see each other and go back into the carrier. In the DS version, Snellie herself replaces the item.
