SpongeBob and Patrick were supposed to travel to Shell City to get King Neptune's crown back in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. They were eventually taken by the cyclops to a strange shack on land, later finding out it was Shell City. SpongeBob and Patrick were about to die due to the heat from the lamp but instead saved when the sprinklers sprayed them along with the other sea creatures. The sea creatures then attacked the cyclops and SpongeBob and Patrick took the crown and left Shell City.
