Another sea monster appears in the episode SpongeGuard on Duty, when SpongeBob, looking for an excuse to make everyone get out of the water, warns that "There are sea monsters in the water!". The brainy and civilized-looking sea monster then appears and states that "We sea monsters have made great strides in the fields of science and literature." before slapping SpongeBob with his tail. He is a huge, light green, snake-like being with glasses.
