Rippers' Reef is a reef off the coast of the Goo Lagoon. It appears in the episode "A Life in a Day."

Description=

It is a small island, with many purple spikes and shards sticking out of it. Larry tried to save them by grappling on to the arrow with a lifesaver, but he came too late and the three of them were badly injured and sent to the Bikini Bottom Hospital.

Role in the series

SpongeBob was trying to "live like Larry," something Patrick regretted attempting. He planned to catapult himself into the lagoon, not knowing the angle of trajectory would land them in the reef. Larry tried to save them by grappling on to the arrow with a lifesaver, but he came too late. They all ended up in the hospital, though it is later revealed that SpongeBob wanted to land there.
