"Ripped Pants " is a song featured in the episode of the same name . It was sung by SpongeBob , Millie , an Unnamed fish , and Frank (who is a whale). The song was written by Peter Strauss and writer Paul Tibbitt . Strauss provides the singing voice of SpongeBob (after the first verse). The song's melody borrows heavily from "Be True to Your School " by the Beach Boys .
