Person

Paul Harrison Tibbitt (born 1968) is one of the SpongeBob SquarePants crew members. When Stephen Hillenburg left after the movie, he took the position of the showrunner.

Criticism and controversy

Although Tibbit has been working on the show since its first season, many SpongeBob fans dislike the fact that he took over Stephen Hillenburg's place as the producer. This is because of the rapidly-declining quality of the series from Season 4 onwards. Sharing similar criticism are writers such as Zeus Cervas and Casey Alexander.
