Object

The Patty Wagon, also known as the Patty Mobile, was a vehicle that is shaped like a Krabby Patty and is shown to be built with layers of ingredients like a real Krabby Patty. It is said by SpongeBob that Mr. Krabs uses it for promotional reasons. It first appears in The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie.

Description[]

The Patty Wagon is made to look like a Krabby Patty with pickles for wheels and two lights on the front of the car. It also has a small, red flag that reads the Krusty Krab's initials.

In The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run, it's revealed that the Patty Wagon can be transformed into a submarine sandwich Krabby Patty with ketchup and mustard dispensers as exhaust pipes.

Role in series[]

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie[]

SpongeBob and Patrick ride the Patty Wagon to Shell City. It gets stolen as they cross the county line. However, it is then brought to the Thug Tug, at which SpongeBob and Patrick are able to get it back. They then ride it through the abyss.

After they land on the road following a jump while dodging the fake ice cream vendor, they are separated from the Patty Wagon, which is then eaten by a frogfish and then by a larger fish, destroying it in the process.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game[]

The vehicle appears in the driving levels "Sandwich Driving 101," "No Weenie Parking Anytime," "Sundae Driving," and "Drive of the Knucklehead-McSpazitron." Despite having been eaten by the frogfish earlier in the game, Princess Mindy is able to retrieve it for SpongeBob and Patrick prior to the start of the "Drive of the Knucklehead-McSpazitron" level if the former gives her fifty Goofy Goober tokens. If the player causes damage to the Patty Wagon too many times, it will break down by its ingredients dissolving, thus restarting the level.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game 3D[]

In this game the player plays as SpongeBob and Patrick who are seen driving in the Patty Wagon doing tasks from Princess Mindy.

Delivery Dilemma[]

SpongeBob is seen driving the Patty Wagon throughout the game.

MadBob WarriorPants[]

SpongeBob is seen in it trying to get away from Plankton, who's chasing him.

Nick Racers Revolution 3D[]

It is one of the vehicles for SpongeBob and Patrick. It can only be unlocked by getting first place on the Bikini Bottom and Central Park Zoo tracks.

The SpongeBob Movie Game: Sponge on the Run[]

It can be used during a run to destroy obstacles. It costs one bottle to use at the start of a run if desired.

The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run[]

After discovering that SpongeBob and Patrick were arrested at Atlantic City and are going be executed, Sandy, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Plankton go into the city using an improved version of the Patty Wagon to rescue them. The improved version has an alternate mode to become longer to fit more than two people and move much faster.

Nickverse[]

It appears as a buyable vehicle.

Lego Patty Wagon

  • A LEGO version of the Patty Wagon is featured in the Krusty Krab Adventures set.
  • According to SpongeBob, he does not need a license to drive it.
    • Also, for some reason, SpongeBob who always failed countless times of earning a boating license (driver's license) drives more normally, carefully and professionally on the Patty Wagon than on a normal boatmobile (car).
  • The ingredients on the Patty Wagon aren't connected to each other, as seen when SpongeBob and Patrick bash through the wall of the Krusty Krab 2 and the ingredients/parts fall down to each other.
  • The Patty Wagon has a manual transmission. SpongeBob is seen making an "S"-like shifting maneuver, seemingly shifting from reverse to first. Also, while SpongeBob is driving away from the Thug Tug, a third pedal can be seen, most likely a clutch. Both these features are exclusive to manuals.
  • Its name is a pun on "Paddy Wagon," an alternate, but outdated, slang term for a police car.
  • The Patty Wagon is a reference to the Burger Mobile from another Paramount and Nickelodeon movie, Good Burger.
  • Despite not appearing in the second movie, the Patty Wagon is a usable vehicle in The SpongeBob Movie Game: Sponge on the Run.
  • Northern Leisure Group made a ride out of the Patty Wagon featuring SpongeBob and Gary. The ride features sing-a-long lyrics in time with the theme song and horn, bubble and dolphin sound-effect buttons.[1]
  • In The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie video game, if the player collects 31 treasure chests, they have the option to enable the Patty Wagon's horn to play "La Cucaracha" whenever it is honked.
