Trivia

  • This DVD has been re-released in both the UK and Australia.
  • The YTV version of "Something Smells" is shown instead of the Nickelodeon USA version. In the original TV airing, and some re-runs, SpongeBob walks up to a building and says "Hi, building!" which causes the building to flee from SpongeBob's breath. He goes up to Patrick and says "I just don't get it!" and Patrick says "I don't either." In the VHS/DVD release, as well as the YTV version, the scene goes like this:
    • SpongeBob(walks up to a building and waves) I just don't get it! (the building flees)
    • Patrick(offscreen) I don't, either. (SpongeBob walks up to Patrick; the rest of the scene goes as normal, resulting in the same lines being repeated).
  • All the episodes that were on this DVD were included on the It's a SpongeBob Christmas! Blu-Ray.
  • Nautical Nonsense and Sponge Buddies were both originally individual VHS tapes that were combined into one DVD.
  • This is the only SpongeBob DVD to use the 1990 Paramount logo in the opening.
  • "Graveyard Shift" and "Club SpongeBob" are the first two episodes to premiere on home video before being aired on television.
  • This was the first SpongeBob DVD to be released.
