Luna, more commonly known as the Moon, is Earth's only natural satellite, it is, among the satellites of major planets, the largest relative to the size of the object it orbits. It appears in a few episodes.
About
Description
The moon usually appears within the show as a typical moon of which you would find in an animated show. However, in episodes such as "Sandy's Rocket" and "Mooncation," the real life celestial body is shown.

"Home Sweet Pineapple"
It appears with the island during a transition.
Sandy's Rocket
Sandy first mentions the moon after SpongeBob asks what she is going to do with the rocket. She then says that she is going to the moon and shows the moon on a poster. SpongeBob then asks if he can go to the moon. Sandy tells him no, but after some persuasion, Sandy allows him to go. He then runs around the rocket mentioning that he is going to the moon.
Later, Sandy has a Pop-Gun and SpongeBob asks if they are going to hunt on the moon. Sandy says that it is for harvesting moon rocks. Soon, Sandy says that she has been to the moon and there are no aliens there.
That night, Patrick comes over and says that he has heard about SpongeBob's moon trip and says that he has come to give SpongeBob some Alien-Out!.
Later, after starting the rocket, Patrick and SpongeBob find themselves in space. Unknowingly, they orbit the moon for a while and then fall back to Bikini Bottom . Sandy follows the rocket using a jet pack and finds the two aren't there.
Meanwhile, in Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob and Patrick think they have landed on the moon. After capturing Gary and Squidward with the net guns, thinking that they are aliens, who are projected to look like Gary and Squidward, SpongeBob and Patrick find Mr. Krabs and Mr. Doodles outside Squidward's house. The two hold him up and Mr. Krabs tells them to shoot him, but not his money. SpongeBob then says that they don't want his money and calls him a "moon man".
After capturing everyone in town, the two face Sandy and capture her as well. She tries to tell the two that they are not on the moon and in Bikini Bottom, but the two close the rocket's hatch before she can finish.
After Patrick accidentally captures himself, SpongeBob goes back to the moon thinking that he is going to Bikini Bottom. When he gets there, he realizes his mistake.
"The Chaperone"
It appears at the end of the episode with the island.
"Scaredy Pants"
It appears outside the Krusty Krab towards the beginning of the episode. It later appears there when Patrick is preparing to lower SpongeBob down to pretend to be the Flying Dutchman. It later appears when Patrick starts running after being stung by a Jellyfish. Later, it appears when the real Flying Dutchman is about to show up. It finally appears at the end of the episode, when Patrick runs away from SpongeBob.
"I Was a Teenage Gary"
The moon appears right before the scene with Gary, Squidward, and SpongeBob singing on the fence.
"Sleepy Time"
It appears at the beginning of the episode with the island.
"Big Pink Loser"
It appears with the island right after the scene with SpongeBob and Patrick walking into the sunset.
"Wormy"
It appears with the island right before Wormy's metamorphosis scene.
"Patty Hype"
It appears with the island right before the scene with the Pretty Patty customers returning to get their money back.
"Life of Crime"
Patrick mentions it as one of the locations that SpongeBob and Patrick should take the balloon.

It appears with the island after SpongeBob finishes watching the commercial.

It appears with the island after SpongeBob waxes Squidward's head.

It appears when Mr. Krabs is driving. It is one of the things that, in Mr. Krabs' head, turns into a penny.
Mooncation
This is the one of the main locations of the episode. Sandy and SpongeBob travelled there and made many stunts.
"Don't Look Now"
It first appears in the episode, when SpongeBob and Patrick think that the Fisherman was after them. It is revealed to just be Jellyfish clumped together to make a silhouette similar to that of the Fisherman.
It later appears twice when Squidward dresses up as the Fisherman.
The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water
It briefly appears when SpongeBob and fiends are shown traveling to get back the Krabby Patty Secret Formula from Burger Beard the Pirate.
"The Sewers of Bikini Bottom"
On SpongeBob's "To Do" list, one of the things is, "Take a road trip to the Moon."
"Moldy Sponge"
When the moon comes out, SpongeBob turns into the Moldy Sponge.
