Monster Island (online game) is a SpongeBob SquarePants online game.
It came out from August 9 to August 13, 2010. A preview can be viewed to see how it began: SpongeBob and Patrick are shipwrecked upon an island inhabited by scary monsters. You help them uncover the island's mysteries and try to make a great escape through a series of games.
Series
Episode One
The first game came out on August 9. Help SpongeBob escape the monster chasing him. Pick up crystals to throw at him to slow down, and avoid rocks. Once enough time passes, you beat the game. The episode ends when SpongeBob finds himself cornered, and someone appears... Sandy?
Episode Two
The second game came out on August 10. Turns out, this Sandy inhabits the island and has a special magic staff. She gives it to SpongeBob, so that he can control the monster. Now both SpongeBob and the monster are on the run. Jump and double jump over rocks that would otherwise stop you from jumping, and collect crystals to wipe out all the monsters form the screen. After the game ends, the monster stops by a deep chasm... and throws SpongeBob into it!
Episode Three
The third game came out on August 11. SpongeBob lands on a sea monster in the chasm and uses the staff to control it. He then goes through a large river. Avoid rocks that slow you down and collect crystals so you can manually use them to clear enemies on the screen. After you beat the game, SpongeBob gets kidnapped by a Pterodactyl-like monster.
Episode Four
The fourth game came out on August 12. The monster that got SpongeBob then drops him below. When SpongeBob lands, he sees Patrick stuck on the top of a huge mountain. He must rescue him! By hopping on top of a snail-like monster, he climbs up the mountain. Dodge rock monsters and charge through turtle monsters. Collect crystals to heal. After you beat the game, SpongeBob finally treks to the top of the mountain. He goes inside a cave and rock blocks the entrance. He is trapped!
Episode Five
The fifth and final game came out on August 13. SpongeBob encounters a giant, floating monster with a jellyfish-like brain. Suddenly, a huge rock caves in and goes straight for SpongeBob! By controlling the floating monster, SpongeBob makes a quick escape. Press the spacebar or click the mouse to break rocks in the way to avoid getting squished. Hold it to build up power and release to easily break rocks. Collecting crystals will only increase your score. This part is very hard to Beat. After you beat the game, SpongeBob sees Patrick and a turtle monster. He yells at him to jump on the monster, and so Patrick does. Then, the mountain picks its "nose" and flicks SpongeBob and Patrick away into the horizon. This is the end... or is it?

- Patrick Star appears in this game, but he is not a playable character.
Errors
- Sandy Cheeks is seen in a cutscene in this game, but she has no air helmet on her head unlike usual.
