Aye, aye! Welcome to my message wall! Please feel free to leave a message here. I will always try and keep my comments positive, but please forgive me if I ever fail to do so! :)
I reserve the right to close or remove any messages that are left on my message wall at anytime, but I am unlikely to do this, unless they are for the following reasons:
Harassment — I will always remove harassment messages from my message wall upon discovery. Please do not restore them, because like I said, I reserve the right to close or remove any messages that are left on my message wall at anytime. Users who repeatedly attempt to restore harassment messages will be reported.
Spamming/Trolling — I will always remove these messages from my message wall upon discovery, since they obviously nonconstructive and have no value to me.
Personal Attacks/Insults — I will always remove these messages from my message wall upon discovery. While I am a difficult person to offend, insults and personal attacks are not to be taken lightly, as they are still not okay to do.
Necro-bumping — Usually I don't trouble to close old messages, but if a user necro-bumps an old message on my message wall that has nothing to do with them, I will remove the user's response, and close the thread.
Thank you for your contributions to Encyclopedia SpongeBobia. However, you are currently in violation of one of our rules. Specifically, using acronyms containing profanity. Please take a look and review our rules on this page. If you continue to violate the rules of this wiki, you may be blocked.
I'm just concerned that it will leave a bad impression on me if I don't remove it. Can I at least close the thread if I can't remove it? I just don't want random users bursting in on something that doesn't concern them.
Yes, but what if some users reply to this message to try and disparage me? I can think of one user that I don't want replying to this, and I will remove their message if they respond to it since I have had enough of their attempts to disparage me. And I will contact an admin if they attempt to restore it.
if a user is going out of their way to disparage you by replying to threads that have nothing to do with them, that would constitute harassment, which is against our policy. if that happens, the user will be given a warning, unless it's their first edit on this wiki, in which case they can be blocked immediately.
i can't see the content of the reply, but just so you know, "arrives" is correct, at least in american english, because it refers to "crowd," which is singular. it might be different in other parts of the world, but this wiki strictly uses american english.
Still, I know that that user was only doing it to disparage me, and they've disparaged me on various other wikis to the point where I've literally forbidden them from trying to contact me, since their behaviour is unconstructive. They basically stalk me, or did, not sure if they still do, but they did.
WHY did YOU delete my comment? So others can make a comment AT me but I can't respond to it? BTW, I am not that skilled user so I can't edit quite good so you shouldn't be harsh to people that learn how to do that, your attitude towards me was awful, and I want it to be the last time you insult me!
You can respond to it. But you need to follow through and format your comment properly, below my comment. You posted your own comment in-between my comment and my comment signature which is not how it's supposed to work. On top of that you also forgot to sign your signature, which further hinders your efforts to format your response. You also seem to be under the impression that I insulted you. I didn't insult you. All I did was disagree with your opinion, and my disagreeing with your opinion was not intended in bad faith in any way.
Oh I see. Well, how can I post my comment under yours? I don't know how...I didn't do it on purpose if that's what you are claming. Furthermore, before disagreeing with someone, you have to ask him, and you clearly didn't , so that's another thing to insult somebody, just letting you know.. However, since you are skilled, why didn't you just copy and paste my comment under yours and you just deleted it? That's 100% illegal, when you disagree with someone you have to hear the other's person opinion too! Lastly, I want my comment to be written again, since you are skilled, YOU are going to re-write it, and if you don't remember what I wrote on it, then I AM going to re-write it, the way I can , since you are not willing to help. Thanks for answering!
It's ok, I succesfully added my comment this time, and please don't respond to it, I don't want to have conversation with you , and also it's tiring to have a bunch of comments on nick mick's request . Lastly, I don't want you to share your beliefs with me, so that's another reason I don't want you to respond at me. The end.
It's too late. I've already responded to it, and it's in my rights to voice my disagreements on another user's opinions whether they like it or not. And it's pretty clear that this debate is nothing but a lost cause so I'm closing this thread now.
Because the said punctuation was incorrect. It should say "SpongeBob and Gary try to sleep with Patrick" instead of "tries to sleep" since "tries" is the correct noun for one character, whereas "try" is the correct noun for two characters. And I'm pretty sure "arrive" is the correct noun for the first sentence "A crowd of hungry nematodes arrive in Bikini Bottom early in the morning".
I didn't contradict myself. I explained that you changed "try" to "tries" when it should have been "try" all along. And you can't say that I changed "try" to "tries", because I did the exact opposite. The past revisions don't lie. It was you that changed "try" to "tries" and it was I who changed it back.

But you did change it from "try" to "tries" in the revision. My edit corrected it. I also took a screenshot to prove it:
Oh, sorry. I think I misunderstood the validity of doing so. Exactly why is it that punctuation goes inside quotes, and why is it important? And why is it that people shouldn't put punctuation outside of the quotes?
Oh, okay. I'll make sure I remember in future. But I just wanted to know why things are done like that. I'm not trying to worm out of following the manual of style or anything. I just wanted to know why.
Yeah I know about that. It's not easy when you've been doing the opposite punctuation for so long. I guess my punctuation guard was down. When I rewrote that trivia fact, I forgot to check the punctuation I added.
I'm sorry. I did manage to follow the manual of style most of the other times. It's just it's very hard to follow the manual of style, when my brain and fingers are so good at remembering to put the " before the , when it should be the other way around here.
"these rules are customary in the united states, and since spongebob is an american series, we use american grammar conventions." Squiddle says. And oh yes, I should've noted that too. Perhaps the other way round is customary in other parts of the world, but not the US. Was always used to the other way round convention in my country.
