  • I have always considered Plankton! to be the episode that SpongeBob meets Plankton.

    • SpongeBob: I swear I'm not doing anything. Mr. Krabs! The Krabby Patty is haunted!
    • Mr. Krabs: Avast, ye patty pirate! This is no ghost. This is… Plankton! Stealing me booty!
    • ...
    • SpongeBob: Uh.. Plankton, sir?
    • Here, SpongeBob seems confused at what is going for the entire situation.
    • Mr. Krabs: Aye, he's been trying to steal me secret formula for years.
    • Here Mr. Krabs is telling SpongeBob about Plankton. Why would Mr. Krabs tell SpongeBob this if SpongeBob knew Plankton?

    • First, the krabby patty scene could have been just SpongeBob not knowing that it was Plankton controlling the patty.

Second, Mr. Krabs could giving exposition to the audience. I would not put it past him to do so.

Third, since it is not confirmed because of many different factors, it is still speculatied information.

    • I do see what you mean, but it would be speculation to assume that Krabs was talking to the audience (as this was the audience's introduction to Plankton). In the context of the episode, he was talking to SpongeBob, as SpongeBob did respond to his line by laughing.

Another thing is that SpongeBob isn't as alert of Plankton's manipulation techniques in this episode as he is in others. Of course, this line is only speculation. Additionally, Plankton is manipulating SpongeBob in a way that shows that SpongeBob didn't know Plankton. There was a delay before SpongeBob figured out what Plankton was trying to do.

The real question is whether or not Krabs is talking to SpongeBob or the audience, and he is definitely speaking to SpongeBob.

    • Ironically, this is my favourite episode of SpongeBob SquarePants. Not only for introduction of Sheldon J. Plankton, it's also because of that awesome title card music.

With the show's record of breaking the fourth wall, you cannot assume this.

I am not sure of the purpose of everything else, but yes, we can have a discussion on "personal" reception. Technically, yes, there isn't any rule for or against it. When there is a dispute between two parties over a certain issue (personal reception being the issue), we need to discuss it and come to an agreement. I don't understand why you add your personal reception, but then you remove other reception from articles that are unreliable. However, I want to know why you are putting your personal opinion on the article. What is to stop everyone else from putting their personal opinion in the article?

First, I've only reverted reception that is general, such as "Most people agree that this episode is terrible."

Second, what's wrong with people putting their opinion of an episode in an article?

This is in response to AMK's most recent response:

    1. It does matter that intially the subgalleries are correct because with my experience, users who make subgalleries, don't usually return to those subgalleries, which leaves other users, particuarly, me, to clean up the mess left by the users.

    2. She had full intent of the rules. She chose to ignore them and continue doing the wrong behavior, instead, she could have either comunicating with the user who originally sent her the message or looked for the way to do the subgalleries herself.

    3. I don't believe her block was for, or at least I did not intend for her block to be about, her ignorance, but rather her knowledge of the situation and her lack of change.

    4. I would like to apologize to her for calling her a male in the edit summary, I should not have just assumed and I should have checked her page.

      • 1. You are correct, but we don't punish people with good intensions for wanting to add content to the wiki. Anyone can always delete the subgallery and start over by doing it correctly.
      • 2. We don't know that for sure. She should respond to the message on her message wall within 24 hours, otherwise another message can be sent. If after 48 hours she hasn't responded but continues to edit, a block can be issued.
      • 3. Okay.
      • 4. Okay.

  • You got blocked again? Maybe next time you revert a page multiple times in less than 24 hours, you should remind your self of the 3 Revert Rule.

  • If any admins read this, I would like you to replace "Wormy", in SpongeBob's Infobox, with "Wormy (character)" and add "Larry SquarePants" as SpongeBob's cousin in the infobox.

  • Where did you even find this image?
