Merriwether Williams (born March 28, 1968) is a former SpongeBob SquarePants crew member. She is a television writer and was a junior executive at Nickelodeon cartoons who issued Network notes to the shows' creators.
After leaving the executive ranks, she wrote one episode of The Angry Beavers and was responsible for writing three-paragraph outlines for SpongeBob SquarePants. She performed the same work for Camp Lazlo at Cartoon Network. She has also written two or three films with her actor friend James Franco.
More recently, Williams has been a story editor for Camp Lazlo and Adventure Time, and has written a few episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop (2012) and one episode of Pound Puppies.
