Person

Merriwether Williams (born March 28, 1968) was one of the SpongeBob SquarePants crew members. She is a television writer and was a junior executive at Nickelodeon cartoons who issued Network notes to the shows' creators.

After leaving the executive ranks, she wrote one episode of The Angry Beavers and was responsible for writing three-paragraph outlines for SpongeBob SquarePants. She performed the same work for Camp Lazlo at Cartoon Network. She has also written two or three films with her actor friend James Franco.

More recently, Williams has been a story editor for Camp Lazlo and Adventure Time, and has written six episodes of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and one episode of Pound Puppies.
