Maurice is a blue sea monkey with dark blue fins and a dark blue mermaid's tail.
Role in episode[]
Patrick uses the time closet to visit a carnival and get a present for Bunny. Along the way, he sees Maurice, who bats at the mistletoe attached to his hat. As he walks away, Maurice follows behind him. After Patrick gets a tattoo from a bearded fish, Maurice is seen hanging onto his back, still batting at his hat. When Mrs. Puff tries to kiss Patrick because of the mistletoe, Maurice slaps her, angering her and making her punch Patrick back into the time closet.
When Patrick returns home, he finally notices Maurice, and says that he'll be Squidina's gift. On Christmas morning, Squidina shows Maurice to Patrick, having taught him some tricks. She whistles, and he juggles some candy canes, then Squidina throws a bone at him and he chases after it.
