The scariness of Adult Wormy's close up has made this video and a lot of spoofs very popular. Various videos have been made that spoof of other characters being scared by adult Wormy's scary bug face, often used as a portrayal to other bugs, particularly spiders.
Mid-Life Crustacean: SpongeBob and Patrick ask Mr. Krabs if they are feeling it for the Panty Raid, there is a version of this saying: "Art thou feeling it now Misiour Krabs?" One popular version is when Patrick sits on Harold.
Assault your mind with subliminal messages
Gary Takes a Bath: When SpongeBob assaults Gary's mind with subliminal messages, several bath-related images appear. A rather creepy image of a chuckling girl suddenly appears, followed by SpongeBob saying "Sorry you had to see that."
Random images or scenes would replace SpongeBob's subliminal messages or only the last image would be used.
Graveyard Shift: SpongeBob works overtime and repeatedly says "I/I'm (action performed)... at night."
This is a popular meme and can be used for Sparta Remixes if correct.
Neptune's Spatula: King Neptune is about to present SpongeBob his prize for living in Atlantis upon winning the Ultimate Cook-Off, but when he opens the cloud he shows a live-action man taking a shower instead, who reacts. Neptune apologizes and quickly changes the scene.
Some videos of this clip replace the man taking a shower with something else.
Missing Identity: SpongeBob is getting ready for work starting out with some trouble. He then gets some snail food and wondered what it tasted like. He tasted it only to scream "BLEH!" heard by many Bikini Bottomites.
This has become popular due to SpongeBob screaming and it creates irony, as he liked snail food in other episodes like I was a Teenage Gary. Possibly because his taste buds and brain were infested in Snail DNA when Squidward injected him with the Snail Plasma.
Breath in Boi
The meme refers to a pair of images of SpongeBob clasping his hands together and leaning over. The image originated from the flash game Kah Rah Tay Contest, released in 2003. The images are also commonly used as a reaction image to various instances of people making an unwise decision.
Band Geeks: Squidward's band performs at the Bubble Bowl.
One would replace Sweet Victory with a different song. It is very popular on YouTube. Clips from other SpongeBob episodes, as well as The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, are used too. Some examples would be Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen and Eye Of The Tiger by Survivor. Some use parts where characters speak rather than sing, involving characters other than SpongeBob representing the singer at some points and/or do not use clips from "Band Geeks." The meme is usually called "SpongeBob sings (song name)."
SB-129: When Primitive Sponge and Primitive Starfish are electrocuting themselves with a jellyfish, Squidward (who time traveled) asked them what they were doing, with both Primitive Sponge and Starfish making surprised face.
Around May 2016, Primitive Sponge with a surprised face has become an internet meme, with his photo photoshopped into multiple scenarios (an example being "When your friend is about to pick you up and can't find your wallet", followed by a photo of Primitive Sponge pasted into a room background). He is incorrectly known as "SpongeGar" in these memes, although that is a completely different character who looks similar to Primitive Sponge.
On June 4, 2016, Encyclopedia SpongeBobia administrator Squiddleward made a post on Tumblr correcting the meme, explaining the difference between SpongeGar and Primitive Sponge. The post quickly went viral, gaining over 20,000 notes within several hours and reaching 100,000 by the end of the month.
The Sponge Who Could Fly: Patchy the Pirate finds a tape that shows a “lost episode” of SpongeBob. At the end of the episode, he puts in the tape and finds the clip is simply a series of SpongeBob doing walk cycles to upbeat music. Once it ends, Patchy angrily says "That was just a bunch of cheap walk cycles!"
There are many different types of videos with such part, sometimes replacing the destruction of SpongeBob merchandise with other franchises or themed objects.
Chocolate with Nuts: While SpongeBob and Patrick are selling chocolate, they come across an insane, chocoholic Tom at numerous times.
This has made "Chocolate with Nuts" one of the most popular SpongeBob episodes. This fad is also a very popular subject in remixes, YouTube Poops, edits, Sparta remixes, and parodies.
Have You Seen This Snail?: Squidward sees SpongeBob and Patrick searching for Gary from outside his window while taking a bath. Seconds later, SpongeBob and Patrick break into Squidward's bathroom and cause him to scream continuously.
This scene has become a very popular meme on YouTube. It would involve characters from video games to TV shows (including other memes), to pop stars and politicians, even inanimate objects breaking into Squidward's bathroom; causing Squidward to scream. The scream is then looped in reverse. The meme is usually known as "(Name) Drops By Squidward's House." This is popular in Sparta Remixes on YouTube.
Dying for Pie: Upon realizing SpongeBob may inevitably die from the pie bomb he gave to him, Squidward vows that he will make SpongeBob's last few hours the very best, so much that SpongeBob will be loved so much that he'll "drown in it," as Squidward says.
His unusually happy emotion gains quite a lot of popularity.
Nature Pants: While Patrick and Sandy are having a picnic at Jellyfish Fields, they spotted SpongeBob. The two convinced him to return. In addition, Patrick said "Even Squidward misses you!"
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy: Every time someone mentions there is evil afoot, an obsessive Mermaid Man runs around, screaming "evil!" continuously.
Various scenes would be put in place for the "evil afoot", such as the atomic explosion. In addition, viewers sometimes mimic this line.
Frankendoodle: SpongeBob and Patrick find a pencil, and find out that anything drawn with it comes to life. They then draw another SpongeBob named DoodleBob. He then beats up Squidward. SpongeBob realized they have to get rid of him. He then uses the pencil to draw a bowling ball and rolls it at Patrick. Patrick turns into a bowling pin, and gets knocked over. SpongeBob says "You Okay Patrick?” and Patrick screams "FINLAND!” As well as that, "Finland" is briefly heard in "Accidents Will Happen" and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.
This has become popular on YouTube to Patrick's loud screaming of it.
SB-129: Squidward finds out he is 2000 years in the future, making him lie down and yell "FUTURRRE!" The scene reappears during the song When Worlds Collide, in Ugh.
This has been used on YouTube with usually a loop of Squidward saying "FUTURRRE!" example being 10 minutes or just about 20 seconds.
Someone will take an image or video of a purple character and have the line being said. Mostly used with Barney (from the show "Barney and Friends").
GARY, YOU ARE GONNA FINISH YOUR DESSERT, AND YOU ARE GONNA LIKE IT!
Dying for Pie: Near the end of the episode, Squidward tells SpongeBob that he was supposed to explode. Therefore, SpongeBob "explodes" by yelling "Gary, you are gonna finish your dessert, and you are gonna like it!”
This quote has quickly become popular and is used throughout the Internet. It also gained several remixes, spoofs, and videos of people imitating SpongeBob's quote.
The Two Faces of Squidward: After SpongeBob hits the door on Squidward several times, he has become more handsome than before. SpongeBob then shoves Squidward out of the way, and he looks as if he is dancing.
This image has become very popular in edits, remixes, and numerous YouTube videos. It has also been parodied by fan-made art of other characters impersonating the handsome face.
Squidward's "dancing" has also become popular on YouTube, and videos will usually show him dancing to different songs or music.
In the SpongeBob parody short meant to advertise Spongebob's cereal made by the youtuber known as Fried Chili Cheese Dogs: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZJiIXMYgHEhas an instance where Mr. Krabs says "Have a bowl Mr. Squidward!" And throws a glass bowl full of the cereal at him, only for Squidward (and the bowl) to fall off the table and spill on the floor, the scene, as well as the video have become extremely popular on Youtube.
Krabby Road: SpongeBob asks Plankton if their first song can go like this (making loud siren-like music with his voice) and then turn into one of the songs that goes... (Making a high-pitched screech), much to Plankton's discomfort.
Segments of music from songs and/or random sound effects would replace the sounds made by SpongeBob's voice.
Hi, how are ya?
"Not Normal:" After SpongeBob watches a video on how to be normal, he begins emulating the personality of the person featured in the video, Mr. Normal. A commonly said phrase by SpongeBob during his "normal" phase is "Hi, how are ya?"
This has become popular among YouTube remixes and reactions used in Tumblr quotes.
Krusty Krab Training Video: The narrator explains all the rules of the Krusty Krab to SpongeBob in order for him to make a Krabby Patty. At one point, he said, "Sounds like a lot of..." and was cut off by an annoying fish who kept yelling "HOOPLA." Eventually, a brick knocked out the fish.
Just One Bite: SpongeBob tells Squidward that the Krabby Patty is good for his soul, to which Squidward states he has no soul. At that moment, evil laughter is heard as fire appears in the background behind Squidward. Then, Squidward gets shocked as the background returns to normal, and slowly walks away.
The video has become famous, and can be redone into Sparta remixes. Also, some fan-made videos recreate the scene.
I Love You
Chocolate With Nuts: SpongeBob tells Patrick to flatter the next customer to make him feel better so he would buy their chocolate bars. When they arrive at the customer's house, Patrick says "I Love You", and the customer immediately shuts the door.
This is an EXTREMELY popular fad on YouTube. It has been featured numerous times in Sparta remixes and memes such as "Can You Survive the (number of minutes) of I Love you".
I Put SpongeBob Music Over
I Put SpongeBob Music Over is a meme using the APM track Tomfoolery, and putting it over videos or scenes in movies or cartoons. The music is usually is used in tense scenes. More APM tracks started to get used when the meme grew popular such as Grass Skirt Chase.
Mimic Madness: After laughing at SpongeBob’s imitations, Tom yells at his kids, telling them to eat their Krabby Patties.
This meme has become popular and has been used frequently in earrape.
Krab Borg: SpongeBob, following the "scary robot movie", becomes paranoid at work. He hears the grill go off and, thinking he has found by the robots, lifts his arms up and says "I surrender!" before realizing the truth.
This meme is frequently used in relation to the French, who are known for stereotypically surrendering.
This has become very popular on fads, memes, and YTPs and is often called “Imagination.”
Inappropriate Timing SpongeBob Banner
Inappropriate Timing SpongeBob Banner is a meme based on a Nickelodeon bumper featuring SpongeBob. Occurring on May 12, 2012, on "And the Winner Is...", the sixth episode of The Legend of Korra it has become incredibly popular by being turned into a GIF on a Tumblr blog.
The banner would appear onscreen during an emotional scene of a TV series or movie, to mock poorly timed cross-promo ads during broadcasting. SpongeBob's expression combined with the drama of the scene would often make viewers joke about SpongeBob being mean.
The GIF image which sparked the popularity of this meme
Another GIF but this time it is Korra while SpongeBob is showing.
In "Culture Shock," Squidward attempts to please the crowd watching him by dancing. He dances from a classical song with singing birds and dry cliffs to immediately and suddenly changing into some sort of techno music and weird dancing. Squidward's dancing in the techno part is pretty popular.
Band Geeks: Patrick asks Squidward if mayonnaise is an instrument.
The scene has become a classic meme on the Internet, with Patrick saying: "Is __ an Instrument?" and Squidward responds, "No Patrick, __ is not an instrument", having the word mayonnaise being replaced by another random word. This has become VERY popular in remixes & edits.
Occasionally, "instrument" may be replaced with a different word to show any type of logical confusion in a given context.
Staryu asking if leftovers is an instrument
Skrillex Patrick asking if MacBook is an instrument
"Is Mayonnaise an Instrument?" meme criticising Reddit
Patrick asks if sugarcane is an alkane
The "Is Mayonnaise an Instrument?" meme with the "Increasingly verbose" meme
Christmas Who?: When SpongeBob talks about Santa Claus, he states whatever you tell him that you want, he will bring it to you. Patrick remarks it is like what a genie does, and swoons.
The video can be parodied, and some viewers sometimes mimic Patrick.
Leedle Leedle Leedle Lee!
Shanghaied: When the Flying Dutchman tells SpongeBob and Patrick to howl along with him, so they could "set the seven seas ablaze with fear", instead of howling, Patrick just says "Leedle Leedle Leedle lee" much to the Dutchman's annoyance.
The meme will show how long Patrick says "Leedle Leedle Leedle lee" for a certain amount of time. Also in the early versions of the Slender The Eight Pages called SpongeBob Slendypants, a free to play indie horror.
Livin' Like Larry
A Life in a Day: SpongeBob and Patrick are given life advice by Larry the Lobster, using this quote various times in the episode as they perform dangerous stunts.
This quote is often associated with Larry the Lobster and is quite popular on the internet, sometimes being compared to YOLO (You Only Live Once).
This is probably the most popular SpongeBob meme to date. The hideous image is widely known as Moar Krabs or Morbid Krabs, and has appeared in a large number of fads, edits, and other Internet videos. It has been seen on YouTube Poops many times. It sometimes has captions saying something like MOAR in the caption.
In the episode "Little Yellow Book," it is revealed that when SpongeBob sees plaid, he clucks like a chicken.
However, the meme is different; it features SpongeBob "mocking" a specified text (which is actually more related to the plot of "Mimic Madness" instead of "Little Yellow Book"), and is written in toggle case. The meme started to become popular in early 2017, and is usually associated with text written in uppercase and lowercase letters.
Life of Crime: When Patrick accuses SpongeBob of eating his chocolate bar, a chocolate-stained close-up of his face is shown saying "You took my only food. Now I'm gonna starve", then showing his distorted body.
This image is usually known as Morbid Patrick and has become popular in remixes and edits. In addition, there is a similar image of what appears to be Patrick Star with a human-like structure, which is actually from the 1993 film Coneheads.
Patrick's gonna starve...
A different image often associated with this scene
What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?: SpongeBob wanders New Kelp City wondering why he could not get any jobs. He meets a random fish and says, "Look at me, mister! Look at me! Is there something wrong with me?” An extremely disturbing close-up of SpongeBob's face appears, with a snot bubble blowing out of his nose. The fish then screams and runs away.
This image has become popular in remixes and edits. Another hideous face would cover SpongeBob's, such as Skodwarde's.
Mr. Krabs Plays the World's Smallest Violin
Squilliam Returns: Mr. Krabs plays the violin numerous times in the episode as a running gag.
Although it is not as popular as other fads, Mr. Krabs plays the World's Smallest Violin . The memes are mostly an extended version of the song he is playing, called “Woe is me.” It could also be played at different speeds.
This quote has spawned much popularity, as well as other quotes (such as "My Eyes!" from The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie) said by the same fish. In fact, this was the same fish that was featured in the "DEUUEAUGH!" fad, only with a different color.
My name's not RICK!
The Fry Cook Games: SpongeBob and Patrick fight. SpongeBob attempts to erase some of his nametag, erasing Pat, making "Rick." Patrick then yells "NOOOO! MY NAME'S.... NOT... RIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!”
This has become very popular to Sparta remixes due to Patrick yelling it out for an extended period.
Squilliam Returns: Squilliam wants to hear what Squidward has accomplished since high school. Panicking, Squidward tries not to be intimidated and decides to picture him in his underwear but when he does so, Squilliam is imagined as a hot underwear model. Squidward then says in his head, "Oh, no, he's hot!"
Sometimes another picture would replace the part where Squilliam appears to be an underwear model. Various other shows and animations can also be remade into this scene.
This video meme started when an internet video was posted, which showed a man playing The Game of Life (SpongeBob Edition). He was holding the Mr. Krabs character and bouncing it up and down on top of the board, where he yelled only four words "Oh, yeah! Mr. Krabs!" The video has gotten over 4 million views and it is regularly heard in vines and remixes.
Rock-a-Bye Bivalve: Patrick goes back to "work" and SpongeBob angrily follows him returning Patrick's briefcase filled with sundaes and donuts, in which he dumps all over Patrick. Patrick then says, "So, this is the thanks I get for working overtime?" SpongeBob gets extremely angry (though not as angry as he was in Rock Bottom), and exclaims "Overtime?!" with an angry look and many teeth.
This has become very popular with edits, remixes, Sparta Remixes, and YouTube Poops.
Patrick Catches the Ugly
Something Smells: When SpongeBob confronts Patrick in a bathroom stall with a paper bag covering his head, Patrick takes off the paper bag and points at his face, saying he got the ugly and making SpongeBob cringe.
As soon as Patrick takes off his paper bag, a random, usually hideous, creepy, or funny face covers Patrick's original face. A specific example would be using Skodwarde's face placed on Patrick's face.
Squidville: When Squidward's TV turns on, a spokesoctopus (parody of a spokesperson) reveals information on Tentacle Acres. Patrick then changes the channel saying, "I hate this channel."
This has become a very popular meme on YouTube. Replacing the spokesoctopus on the TV screen would be a random scene from a movie, TV show, game, or other thing, even the scene where Squidward looks at the TV repeating and repeating like a recursive image. The meme is usually known, as "Patrick hates (noun).”
Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy IV: Squidward has shrunk and Patrick plays with Squidward. In this scene, he decided that Squidward might be more comfortable loving people his own size, so he suggested a pickle would do. He says that Squidward and the pickle "love each other," when in reality Squidward is against kissing the pickle. Patrick then bangs the pickle against Squidward multiple times whilst making smooching sounds, imitating a simulation of Squidward "kissing" the pickle.
This meme has gained popularity for being hilariously inappropriately done. Some common remakes include long-hour versions of the original scene and also ones featuring Pickle Rick from the TV show Rick and Morty.
Krusty Krab Training Video: SpongeBob asks if he could now make a Krabby Patty. However, was told he could not without understanding the phrase "POOP." An acronym (called a "Carefully Organized Code" by the narrator) meaning "People Order Our Patties".
This has become very popular with YouTube Poops due to its inappropriate nature. It has also sometimes been replaced with another acronym that is more inappropriate, or just makes no sense such as ABAP (As Balla as Possible).
Poetry by Gary
Culture Shock: Squidward tells about Gary presenting his poetry during the show, during which he just meows.
This is commonly used by changing Gary's meowing into something else, like a song.
Real Life Explosion
Dying for Pie: When SpongeBob pulled out an explosive pie (revealing that he never even ate it). He was waiting to share it with Squidward. But, he trips over a rock, thus flinging the pie in Squidward's face. Causing an explosion destroying Bikini Bottom.
The Krusty Plate: To get a spot off a plate, he used a very heavy weapon to get it off. The maximum power caused Bikini Bottom to blow up again (The Krusty Krab, at least).
Frozen Face-Off: Plankton tries to get the formula, when the safe proves to be nearly indestructible, he wants to rip it up, bit by bit, molecule by molecule, and atom by atom. He snaps them in half. When the atoms snapped, they glowed while Plankton said "Uh-oh!" The explosion happens, destroying the Krusty Krab once again.
This has become very popular with YouTube Poops, and edited versions of the episodes due to their violent nature. SpongeBob Explosions were the inspiration of this meme. The "Dying for Pie" version is the most commonly used version. This also might have been a real life nuclear explosion of the bomb Baker in the 1950's on Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands located in the Pacific Ocean.
Just One Bite: After Squidward desecrates a Krabby Patty saying he hated it, SpongeBob asks if he is sure. Squidward says, "Does this look unsure to you?", revealing a hideous close-up of his face.
The original image.
The CGI model of Skodwarde with dead Patrick, whom he presumably stabbed.
Along with Moar Krabs, this has also become one of the most popular SpongeBob memes on the internet. The image is usually accepted as Skodwarde, Unsure Squidward,Unsureward, or Morbid Squidward, becoming popular in many edits and fads. In addition, a 3D model of Skodwarde has also become popular. The model appears holding a bloody knife with Patrick's corpse seen in the background.
The Algae's Always Greener: SpongeBob claims he accidentally gave a customer a large drink instead of a medium, meaning he "soiled the good Krusty Krab name", so he shouts "Soiled it!" repeatedly.
SpongeBob Comparison Charts are a series of visual catalogs featuring stillshots of scenes from the show that are presented as exemplification of various media franchises or characters within a fictional universe.
SpongeBob's Eager Face
Band Geeks: When Squilliam talks about how he pictured Squidward's band, SpongeBob appears dancing with his "eager face."
When SpongeBob dances, random music is played. It has become a popular Internet fad on YouTube. SpongeBob's eager face was also used in the online game Reef Rumble.
SpongeBob Sings is a series of YouTube remix videos featuring clips from the animated television series, "SpongeBob SquarePants" which are dubbed in sync with a variety of songs.
SpongeBob Watching TV
Your Shoe's Untied: SpongeBob watches a sea anemone dancing on television. When Gary comes along, SpongeBob quickly changes the channel and says he was watching sports.
This scene has become popular on YouTube, usually involving SpongeBob watching a scene from a show, which replaces the sea anemone. This scene is also controversial, believed as a sexual innuendo by fans (SpongeBob watching an adult movie or show).
In the episode "Pizza Delivery," SpongeBob tries to show Squidward how the pioneers hitchhiked. He does a strange dance while Squidward plays spoons. A still during this sequence with the closed-caption "( spoons rattling )" below (Squidward was playing the spoons during this, hence the caption) has recently become popular online. Since GenderoftheDay first posted the still on Tumblr in late October 2014 and received over 2,800 notes, the image has become popular on sites such as iFunny. Many people began applying edits to the image (see below).
The Squidward Fad (aka Ward Fad) is perhaps one of the most popular SpongeBob fads. Images of Squidward Tentacles (or another character) are altered using different visual effects while Gentle Breeze (music used in Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2) is played in the background. This fad has been used with other images of many different characters (such as Moar Krabs or Skodwarde), even with characters outside SpongeBob SquarePants.
The original video contained an image from the episode "Prehibernation Week," in the scene where Sandy goes to the Krusty Krab to start a search for SpongeBob, and Squidward is pleased to hear that he is gone. A video of this fad is usually named "(name) Ward", or sometimes given another strange name in accordance to the character's name.
The Algae's Always Greener: An angered Nat who said, “You think this is funny?”, visits “Mr.” Plankton. Plankton responded yes in a sarcastic way. Nat then showed him a so-called "Krabby Patty" that Squidward made (because he and SpongeBob switched jobs). Plankton started by saying, "What it's just an ordinary Krabby..." However, he takes one look at it and exclaims "OH MY GOODNESS! SQUIDWARD!"
This has become popular with YouTube videos, and occasionally becomes part of an edited video. More often, part of the video is edited to suit the given reason for the video, with different characters and objects portraying different things: Nat as the complainer, the Squidward Krabby Patty as the bad object or event, Plankton as the scapegoat of the bad object or event, and Squidward as the real owner or cause of the bad object or event.
The Great Snail Race: Squidward gets a purebred snail named Snellie, and entered her in a race, only for her to lose to a rock for unknown reasons. The rock happened to be Patrick’s snail. However, Patrick had the trophy engraved to Squidward. However, it misspelled his last name as "Tortellini."
This has become popular due to Squidward yelling Tortellini, also because it was a running gag throughout the episode with people mispronouncing Squidward’s last name. Ironically, tortellini is actually a pasta dish that is stuffed with meat and cheese and then rolled and formed into small rings.
And the Academy Award is presented to Quentin... TORTELLINI?!
Walking Small: This meme shows SpongeBob walking and saying "Steppin' on the Beach!".
This has been used to make some parodies of it on YouTube in Sparta Remixes as well as some 10 hour videos about it.
A popular video featuring Party Rock Anthem replacing "every day I'm shufflin" with everyday I'm steppin on the beach probably contributed to its popularity.
This meme is from the The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, when SpongeBob and Patrick lose their Patty Mobile. This Patrick is also called Starstruck Patrick. However, in the future, users will create another version of this meme, which is Surprised SpongeBob, albeit it was SpongeBob this time. It was referenced again in the episode "Scavenger Pants."
The original scene
Original image of Surprised Patrick
A infinite loop of Surprised Patricks in other Surprised Patrick mouths.
Prehibernation Week: An orange fish tells another "This is a load of barnacles", referring to Sandy's excessive search for SpongeBob, only for Sandy to reply "I heard that!".
The line, as well as the face the fish makes, have become extremely popular, and is often used in relation to trolls or ridiculous statements.
Too Much Sauce
The Algae's Always Greener: SpongeBob asks "Mr." Plankton if he does something wrong with the Krabby Patty making. Plankton responds: "Too Much Sauce". SpongeBob straightens his arms, makes an Asian/Chinese type face, and moves his arms back & forth while saying "uh uh uh."
This has become very popular on the internet. The face SpongeBob makes has also been compared to the stereotypical Chinese/Asian look (similar to DEUUEAUGH!), featuring some racism. This has also been popular in Sparta remixes.
No Weenies Allowed: SpongeBob tries to get into a stereotypically tough club known as The Salty Spitoon with his friend, Sandy. After repeatedly being turned down by the bouncer, SpongeBob tells him a story about a time he stubbed his toe while watering his spice garden and that he “only cried for twenty minutes."
On August 14, 2012, an image macro titled “Tough SpongeBob” was submitted to the subreddit with a caption asserting that the poster had deleted a saved Pokémon game file that had a completed Pokedex and only cried for 20 minutes (shown below), however, the post only received 8 up votes and 7 points overall prior to being archived.
A different meme, with SpongeBob saying "[...] for four days straight"
This is a fad involving SpongeBob yelling "VICTORY SCREECH!". It will then show all the people in the Krusty Krab making a sound by moving their tongues in various ways. It then shows an extremely cheesed Plankton with the screech still playing.
In the fad itself, a scream from another franchise is inserted or SpongeBob's voice is edited to make it sound like an existing song or theme song.
Wee Woo, Wee Woo
Hall Monitor: This is supposed to be Patrick's siren when he acts as a police cop. While searching for the culprit, he goes "Wee woo, wee woo, wee woo, wee woo, wee woo" rather scaredly. When he suddenly found the culprit, who turns out to be SpongeBob, he immediately shouts "Wee woo, wee woo, wee woo!."
This meme has gained popularity due to the weird way of imitating a police car. In several memes, Patrick's "wee woo" sounds are voiced over actual emergency vehicles, especially police cars. More often, the original scene is used but is modified so that the "maniac" is replaced with a different character or person, as well as replacing SpongeBob with that different character.
We have technology
In a scene from the episode "Wet Painters," SpongeBob and Patrick attempt to remove the spot in Mr. Krabs' first dollar bill using various methods, including banging the dollar bill with physical objects. SpongeBob tells him that "Nothing's working!" where Patrick then tells him that they are "not cavemen" and says "We have technology" after approaching an old early-2000's computer. He then uses the computer to bash the dollar bill.
This meme has been popular in animated versions of the scene and also for old computer memes such as videos of bashing, usually, a computer with one of the "worst" operating systems installed on it. It has also appeared as part of technology image macros.
The meme is quite versatile, but everyone follows the same model; on the top it says "We should x" and on the bottom it says "and y" The following seven pictures are examples of this meme, although one of them works differently from the normal model. Another example of this meme is in Patrick Star for President 2012. "We should take Mexico and push it somewhere else."
Patrick complaining about the old shows from Disney Channel.
Patrick complaining about the old 1990's cartoons.
Krusty Love: SpongeBob, who is suffering a meltdown after buying so many items for Mrs. Puff, finally lashes out at Mr. Krabs, telling him "And then you'll say: 'We're not talking about THIS, or THIS, we're talking about THIIIIISS!'." He draws a triangle in the air with the first "this," a square with the second "this," and then draws over the entire screen with the last "this."
Where's the Leak, Ma'am?
Frankendoodle: SpongeBob and Patrick draw a duplicate of SpongeBob. Then, he comes to life, and turns evil. SpongeBob and Patrick then set out to try to stop him. He then drops a wrench on Patrick causing him to say "Where's the leak, ma'am?"
This has become humorous to reference Patrick's utter stupidity, as well as to show a running gag of people getting hurt throughout the episode.
WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?!
Prehibernation Week: After Patrick arrives home with groceries, he notices a bunch of people under his rock which leads him to yell out "Who are you people?!"
This has been featured in numerous of memes and a few videos most notably Facebook. This meme is also featured in another famous Patrick line "We should take Bikini Bottom, and push it somewhere else!"
I ♥ Dancing: After SpongeBob makes a dance move, he says, "Who put you on the planet? Ugh!" to Squidward. Squilliam later does the same thing at the end of the episode.
This meme referred to the video: "The Spirit of Truth: Survival Scroll Dance", where a man in the video does a similar dance move and says the same quote at the end. This has made it a fairly popular fad on YouTube.
Who Ya' Callin' Pinhead?
Survival of the Idiots: When SpongeBob and Patrick pretend to be Dirty Dan and Pinhead Larry while Sandy hibernates, SpongeBob calls Patrick a pinhead, Patrick is then seen with a human-like face, saying "Who ya' callin' Pinhead?”
Sergeant Keroro doing the "Who Ya Callin' Pinhead?" face.
Scootaloo doing the "Who Ya Callin' Pinhead?" face.
Raphael (bottom) doing the "Who Ya Callin' Pinhead?" face.
This image has become incredibly popular as a subject of remixes, edits, and parodies, as being one of the best lines in cartoon history from YouTube videos.
You like Krabby Patties, don't you Squidward?
Just One Bite: After Squidward is caught sneaking off with a Krabby Patty, SpongeBob asks him several questions. Soon, SpongeBob makes a certain facial expression by raising his head and biting his lower lips, saying, "You like Krabby Patties, don't you Squidward?"
SpongeBob's facial expression has become very popular in Internet videos. Other people copying SpongeBob’s facial expression have also parodied it.
You mean like a weenie?/May I take your hat, sir?
Squilliam Returns: Squidward encounters Patrick thinking the Corps would help straighten out his life, and Squidward asks him to take hats in a dignified and sophisticated manner. Patrick thinks he means it like a weenie, so he makes a goofy face and says "May I take your hat, sir?" repeatedly.
Some videos have it put on longer loops, while others are fan-made videos, which recreate the scene.
