Kenny the Cat is a character who appears in the episode named after him, "Kenny the Cat."
He has long arms and legs, gray and white fur, a skinny tail with a white tip, and yellow eyes with black pupils, and silver eyelids.
Role in episode
In Bikini Bottom, Kenny the Cat is renowned as a celebrity due to his extra-biological ability of holding his breath for large amounts of time. In the episode, SpongeBob and the greater majority of Bikini Bottom idolize him for his talent. Later in the episode, in the Krusty Krab bathroom, SpongeBob discovers that Kenny is a fraud, for he uses an oxygen tank to elude his fans of his breathing feats. At his final autograph signing in the Krusty Krab dining room, Sandy begins to interrogate a pressured Kenny into revealing his secret of using the oxygen tank, revealing to all of his fans that he is, in fact, a fraud. At the epilogue of the episode, Kenny decides that he should change his personality from eluding people to a more candid approach. SpongeBob decides that he should become "the cat that likes water," only for Sandy to launch him back up to the surface before Kenny thinks of any ideas.
His color scheme bears a resemblance to Tom from Tom & Jerry.
He looks somewhat like the cartoon version of Salem Saberhagen.
This resemblance may attribute from the fact that aforementioned character and the name of Tom Kenny inspired the creation of Kenny the Cat.
Kenny is not sized realistically. He is a cat and should be much larger than a fish and a squirrel.
He is the first character in whole series to call SpongeBob "Bob." The second is Squidward in "Mermaid Pants."
