Character
John is a male light purple fish with a lime-green t-shirt. He makes more cameo appearances than roles in episodes.
- Ripped Pants (debut) - a few cameos.
- Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy V - he was dating or perhaps kissing with Nancy Suzy Fish, and he and other teenagers were being harassed.
- Pickles - he asks Squidward for salt but was refused the salt.
- Squeaky Boots - he was eating along with Henry.
- Once Bitten (cameo) - he was bitten by Gary along with Harv and Mable.
- Big Pink Loser - he was waiting for his Krabby Patty and drink several times with all of the orders being eaten by Patrick.
- Bubble Buddy - he demands SpongeBob to pop the bubble.
- Karate Choppers (cameo) - he briefly waits in line.
- Stanley S. SquarePants (cameo) - he briefly waited impatiently in line after Stanley leaves with camera.
- Christmas Who? - he sang Christmas song and waited until he and the rest of Bikini Bottom thought they were given lies about Santa.
- Patty Hype - he, Frank, and Clayton showed Mr. Krabs about the tongues in a wierd color.
- Artist Unknown (cameo) - he was looking to attend cooking class but saw that it wasn't.
- The Algae's Always Greener - (cameo) married to Abigail Marge.
- Born Again Krabs - (cameo) he briefly appears in a celebration and he was seen along withMartha& Charlie.
- SquidBob TentaclePants (cameo) - he walks to Squidward's Clarinet Recital.
- Gone (cameo) - he appears in the background, watching SpongeBob wooden statue burning.
- All That Glitters (cameo) - he and Tina get surprised at SpongeBob crying.
- Pre-Hibernation Week (cameo)
- The Great Snail Race (cameo) - he was part of the audience that saw Rocky, Gary, and Snellie race.

- Suction Cup Symphony (cameo) - he makes a brief role as a member of the audience.
- The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie (cameo) - he eventually and briefly was also the member of the audience including everything.
- The Two Faces of Squidward - (brief cameo)
- The Abrasive Side - he briefly appears in the cameo background driving his car along with other fish on their own boatmobiles, while Grandma SquarePants figured to cross the street.
- The Wreck of the Mauna Loa - he and other fish appear to be at the Amusement Ride before extreme chaos and major accidents pose the ship to collapse.
