Jim (born August 24, 1958) is a former fry cook at the Krusty Krab. Jim was a fry cook at the Krusty Krab around the 1980-1998. Jim is a blue fish with a shaved beard, and brown hair. He quit working at the Krusty Krab because Mr. Krabs refused to give him a raise. After his time at the Krusty Krab, Jim went on to work at the finest restaurants in the world. His success allowed him to retire in luxury. Jim has a solid gold mansion, a solid gold lake, and a solid gold limousine. He also has two security guards who work for him. In his only appearance, "The Original Fry Cook," he revisits the Krusty Krab, where SpongeBob, who had heard of him before, meets him for the first time. In the present day, Jim is bald. During his visit, he helped SpongeBob with his fry cooking. Jim is voiced by TV comedian Patton Oswalt. He probably quit three years before Help Wanted because Spongebob says he has been waiting three years for this day.
Jim is quite famous for his "Jim Patties." Even SpongeBob falls into a minor trance when he takes his first bite. In Jim's patties, he writes his name in ketchup (or as it is called in Something Smells, To Save a Squirrel, and The Slumber Party, Katsup) on the side of the top bun. He was at the scene in the flashback where Squidward loses his long, blonde hair. He also had minor face acne.

Looks
Jim is an overweight, large, blue fish who eats a fair bit. He wears a light brown top and below that is some sort of apron. He has a double chin and his eyelids on the picture are a bluish dark blue. Jim also wears a white hat and has greenish blue lips. Jim also makes a Krabby Patty, but he names it a Jim Patty. It was filled with more mustard and condiments and he would have eaten lots of them, thus making him a bit bigger in size. When Jim was younger, he had big and slightly bushy brown hair.
Attitude
Jim seems like a happy guy (most of the time). When you see him on the show he is smiling alot and we have never seen him have a fit. When he was working for Mr. Krabs though, things might have been different. Because he got no raise, that could have annoyed or irritated him. He would be a happy guy since he is rich and he got to retire in style. Jim is also quite 'Up' himself. Jim always agrees when SpongeBob said that he was the best.
Belongings
Jims house was amazing and most of the features were made of gold. He also has a golden sedan. As we said earlier, Jim was rich and we didn't get to see his house but it is presumed that it was valuable and expensive. Jim would have owned a few restaurants as well because he was so successful. It would be presumed that he would be one of the wealthiest, nicest persons in Bikini Bottom. as we said earlier, Jim quitted his job because Mr. Krabs didn't want to give him more money to his paycheck, leaving bald Squidward and Mr. Krabs all by themselves until SpongeBob arrived in the episode Help Wanted and came to be the second Krabby Patty chef.
Relationships
At the Krusty Krab, Jim was friends with Squidward and Mr. Krabs because in the episode, Mr. Krabs and Squidward say they remember the old times. Jim was a hard working guy so that could be why Mr. Krabs liked him, and maybe Jim likes Squidward's attitude. Although, it all ended with Mr. Krabs and Jim when Mr. Krabs refused him the raise he so rightly deserved.
