Not to be confused with Jewelry.
Location

The Jewelry Store is a shop on the far side of Bikini Bottom. It was originally designed for the season 1 episode "Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II," where it would have had its window accidentally broken.[1]

The scene was eventually deleted from the episode, but only after background artwork had already been created for the store. This artwork was used in the tie-in video games SuperSponge and Employee of the Month. The store was eventually reincorporated into the series, with three appearances since season 10: "Whirly Brains," "Moving Bubble Bass," and "My Leg!"

Description[]

"Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy II"[]

The store was designed for this episode. It was originally going to be featured in a mermarang scene. Although this scene was deleted, the background artwork of the store was eventually used in tie-in video games.

"Whirly Brains"[]

It is seen in the background as Sandy confronts SpongeBob and Patrick.

"Moving Bubble Bass"[]

Lady Upturn is seen exiting the store just as SpongeBob and Patrick travel near it. It is later seen when Bubble Bass' luggage rolls down a hill and hits Incidental 93's snail.

"My Leg!"[]

During the montage of Fred saying, "my leg!," one of the scenes featured includes Fred having his white dress being blown by an air vent in front of the Jewelry Store.

Trivia[]

  • The Employee of the Month video game is the only time the interior of the Jewelry Store has been shown.
