Jellyfish jelly is a fictional type of jelly, or jam, that is produced by jellyfish. It first appears in the episode "Jellyfish Jam" and plays its biggest role in "Jellyfish Hunter."

Description[]

Jellyfish jelly comes in a transparent jar that has an orange splat with the word "jelly" written in capitalized purple text on it and has a dark red lid on top.

Taste[]

Jellyfish jelly tastes very good and is proved to be successful. Not only is it good, but it makes anything it is on taste good as well. It tasted so good that Mr. Krabs made a Jelly Patty out of it. In "Jellyfish Jam," it's revealed the jelly tastes like strawberry.

Role in series[]

"Jellyfish Jam"[]

SpongeBob grabs a jellyfish and pulls on its stingers to extract jelly as if he were milking a cow and then proceeds to sandwich the jam in between two slices of bread and eat said sandwich.

The following day, SpongeBob wakes up to find his house invaded with dancing jellyfish, who happened to have infested his rooms with their jelly.

"Nature Pants"[]

After hiding from Patrick in a jellyfish hive, SpongeBob started eating some jelly inside. When the jellyfish returned, SpongeBob greeted them in a friendly manner, only to end up getting violently stung by them.

"Jellyfish Hunter"[]

SpongeBob gives Fred a sample, and it is so good that he breaks into a song and he gives a sample to everyone else, leading to the success of the new Jelly Patty, until Mr. Krabs goes too far and SpongeBob and No Name stop him. A blue version of the jelly is also introduced, although in the episode, it turned out to just be No Name.

Historically, Jellyfish Jelly has been mass-manufactured in the Old Factory, operated by Mr. Krabs in his money-making schemes.

"FarmerBob"[]

In an attempt to pay off a bill without debt, Mr. Krabs sends SpongeBob and Patrick off to work at Farmer Jenkins' barn. One of their tasks is to milk jelly off a cow jellyfish, which Old Man Jenkins calls Ol' Bessy. SpongeBob manages to get a lot of jelly squirted out onto Old Man Jenkins, but he upsets the cow and it kicks SpongeBob and Patrick to a wall. Patrick then licks the jelly off Old Man Jenkins as he thinks that they are all a sandwich.
