Character
Grandpa Redbeard Krabs is a pirate and the paternal grandfather of Mr. Krabs. His only appearance was in the episode Grandpappy the Pirate, so he is probably already deceased. Mr. Krabs' father was Grandpa Redbeard's son. Grandpa Redbeard looks like Mr. Krabs, except that he has an eye-patch, a beard, a darker shell, and wears sailor clothes. He is a full-blooded pirate, and would love for Krabs to follow in his footsteps and become a pirate. He is a good fighter, especially fighting skeletons. He loves money, like Mr. Krabs, so special skill is stealing a "Loot". He told Mr. Krabs a pirate never tells a lie.
Trivia
- He has one large, and one small claw, which indicates that he may be a fiddler crab. He also may have the tiny claw because a shark ate it and that's a metel claw.
- He is a possible spoof to Blackbeard the Pirate or Ghost of Redbeard from a Scooby-Doo episode.
- Real pirates did in fact have rules, the "Pirate Codex" or "the Code".
- His is one of few pirates that was ever mentioned.
- It is unknown that he has any connection with the pirates back in the episode Dying For Pie.
