giant clam is an animal that first appears in " Tea at the Treedome." It also appears in various other episodes.
Giant clams are ten times larger than a normal
scallop. They are seen as dark purple. Their lips are light purple, the inside of their mouths are light gray, and their tongues are light pink.

"Tea at the Treedome"
SpongeBob rescues Sandy, but the former then gets stuck in the clam's mouth. Sandy tosses the giant clam in the air and it falls to its demise. However, SpongeBob is freed.
SpongeBob sees a sign that reads "Giant Clams" and huge clams start eating him while he is holding onto his
boat, being driven by Mrs. Puff.
