Frank-Ralph is a brown fish that is a citizen of Bikini Bottom wearing a red shirt. His name is mentioned in Hall Monitor, but his real debut is shown in Valentine's Day. His name was finally revealed in "Krusty Dogs."
Appearances
Frank makes many cameo or background appearances aside from a few major roles.
- Valentine's Day - he originally debuts a few cameos in Ultimate SpongeBob SpongeBash boardwalk.
- Christmas Who? - he and other fish sang Christmas song together before they think SpongeBob is developing holiday conflict and eventually exposing lies about Santa Clause.
- Good Neighbors - He appears in Good Neighbors married to Debbie, and taking Squidward to the hospital.
- The Krusty Sponge - he, Frank, Harv, John, Lloyd, Paco, and other fish briefly wait in big line in the background.
- Once Bitten - He was bitten by the mad snail and lost his balance. Later on, he was seen inside the Krusty Krab. He plays a major role in this episode when he predicted that the mad snail disease was waterborne (in this case, airborne).
- Sing a Song of Patrick - He was the first Bikini Bottomite to hear Patrick's song. After hearing it, he ran off.
- Blackened Sponge - He and Sandals where at the Krusty Krab together.
- Boating Buddies - He attends Mrs. Puff's Boating School, and he had a big role in Hall Monitor, where he was called a jerk by Uncle Cap'n Blue.
- Gullible Pants - His first major role was in Gullible Pants, where SpongeBob hired him to make Krabby Patties.
- No Hat for Pat - He was hit in the head by Painty the Pirate in No Hat for Pat, when he was trying to get his attention.
- Chum Bucket Supreme - He was ordering Chum. In this episode, there is an animation error.
- SpongeBob's Last Stand - He also appeared when someone tapped his shoulder to get his attention to SpongeBob telling the Bikini Bottomites to restore the jellyfish ecosystem.
- The Clash of Triton - He heard about King Neptune who is coming to eat at the Krusty Krab decided to watch him eat while he was ripped off without getting change for a twenty.
- The Cent of Money - he appears to make a few brief appearances where he escaped from the krusty krab after change grabbing and another scene where he was in big emergency from major chaos of wavy coins caused by Mr. Krabs of Gary floating in the arcade.
- Krusty Dogs - He's called Frank along with Nathiel and Jimmy. He saw the Krusty Krab sign saying open but can't seem to find some service. Soon, he saw SpongeBob and Mr. Krabs at the back where SpongeBob tells Krabs how he made the new wieners. As the first to buy and taste one he told everyone about it.
- The Wreck of the Mauna Loa - he and other fish get extremley mad on Mr. Krabs for charging the ride after worst major chaos of the collapsing ship.
- Restraining SpongeBob he is ordering a Krabby Patty.
- Free Samples - He eats a Krabby Patty and is very happy with the taste.
Trivia
- Throughout the series, Frank is constantly ripped off or scammed out of money, possibly a running gag in the show.
- In Bucket Sweet Bucket, he complained about the new price of twenty-five dollars for a Krabby Patty but decided to buy four anyway when he liked the new decor.
- During the episode, Krusty Kid's Meal, he was going to buy the new kids meal for just two dollars only to get Mr. Krabs to double it.
- In The Clash of Triton, Bikini Bottomites were going to watch King Neptune eat for five dollars, but Krabs didn't want to give change for a twenty.
- In Kracked Krabs, there was a video showing Frank being ripped off by getting charged three times for a bag of chips with triple flavor.
- In Chum Bucket Supreme when he is approaching the register at the Chum Bucket, his shirt was red. At the next shot, the shirt is blue.
- In Once Bitten, despite that he was bitten, he somehow managed to survive the infection (or thinking he was infected) therefore he never became a zombie. He was able to stand upright as well. He is seen in the mob of survivors that are using the Krusty Krab as a safe zone.
- It is revealed in Free Samples that Frank is, in fact, a salmon.
