Nickelodeon (often shortened to Nick) is an American children's cable television channel. The company's headquarters are located in New York City, New York and its animation studio is located in Burbank, California.
It originally was C-3, which was pre-launched in 1977. In this channel, they exclusively broadcast their first show Pinwheel. Later in 1979, C-3 was renamed to Nickelodeon and was officially launched.
SpongeBob SquarePants airs on Nickelodeon in the United States. Internationally, it airs on Nickelodeon's many foreign channels.

Nicktoons is a channel that airs reruns of Nick's animated lineup. SpongeBob SquarePants reruns are seen on here in addition to the main channel. As of August 2021, the channel mostly airs episodes from seasons 1-11 and the first 9 episodes of season 12. In the past, the channel has had different subtitles; it was billed as Nicktoons TV from 2002-2003 and as Nicktoons Network from 2005-2009.
TeenNick[]
TeenNick (originally announced under the spelling TEENick) is a channel that airs reruns of Nick's older live-action comedy lineup. It is named after TEENick, a former programming block on the main Nickelodeon channel. An overnight classic programming block, named NickRewind, formerly aired on this channel from 11:00 pm to 6:00 am. The block showed reruns of Nickelodeon programming from the 1990s to the mid 2000s. The programming block ran from July 25, 2011 to January 31, 2022. Sometimes, TeenNick airs reruns of SpongeBob SquarePants and other currently airing Nickelodeon shows. SpongeBob SquarePants has occasionally aired on TeenNick from 2017 to 2019, and it began airing regularly on weekdays at 6:00 am from May 10 until July 9, 2021.

The Nick Jr. Channel is a channel named after Nickelodeon's long-running weekday morning block of the same name. Primarily aimed at preschoolers, it airs reruns of shows that originated on the Nick Jr. block. There are usually no commercials, except for promotions of which shows come up next. The channel replaced Noggin, a separate brand which was relaunched as a mobile app in 2015. From 2012 to 2015, the Nick Jr. Channel featured a nighttime block called NickMom, which was aimed at mothers of preschool children. On September 2023, this channel's logo rebranded to the same logo as the Nick Jr. block's splat logo.[1]
Paramount Global continues to host a morning preschool block (also called Nick Jr.) on the main Nickelodeon channel.
This channel aired Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years on November 13, 2022.[2]

NickMusic, known as MTV Hits from 2002-2016, is a channel that airs reruns of older music videos that are appropriate for kids. Despite the name change, Paramount Global continues to air older music videos that appeal to everyone on its main channel, MTV.

Nick Jr., known as Nickelodeon's Play Date from 2009-2012, Nick: The Smart Place to Play from 2012-2014 and Nick Jr. on Nick from 2014-2019, is a preschool block that airs younger-skewing shows every weekday morning.
Nick at Nite[]
Nick at Nite (stylized as nick@nite) is a nighttime block on Nickelodeon that was established in 1985. It airs reruns of classic sitcoms from the 1980s-present as well as the occasional airing of Nickelodeon and Paramount movies. It is often a competitor to Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, an adult-oriented block at night affiliated with another major children's cable network. Nick at Nite has occasionally broadcast SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, usually in timeslots from 6:00am to 7:00am.
TEENick[]
TEENick, known as SNICK from 1995-2004, was a programming block on Nickelodeon that aired episodes of Nick's older live-action comedy lineup.

Nick.com is Nickelodeon's official website. For most of its history, the site featured fan forums, over a thousand online games, episode clips (even a few full episodes), and original videos. Nick.com was once critically praised, receiving the Better Business Bureau's first-ever Internet privacy seal of approval in 1999, and winning a Webby Award in 2003.
As of December 2018, Nick.com has removed all of the games, show pages, videos and forums off of the website in order for it to resemble the Nick app. However, games are still playable on the Australian version of the website.

Nickelodeon Magazine is a series of magazines published by Nickelodeon, launched in 1995. They previously released SpongeBob Comics.

This is a gallery of motion pictures released under this name since 1995. They took part in the production of The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. As of August 14, 2020, SpongeBob SquarePants is the studio's mascot, same for Nickelodeon itself and its animation division.

SpongeBob SquarePants has taken the "Favorite Cartoon" gong a total of 19 times at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, the most awards held by any franchise by Nickelodeon. The last 14 awards, since 2009, have been consecutive.

- However, the Nick Jr. Channel did air The SpongeBob Musical: Live on Stage! on December 7, 2019, and Nick Jr. Australia has aired the show before.[3]
- The Nick Jr. Channel also aired Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years on November 13, 2022.
- September 4, 2006,[4] July 7, 2007,[5] January 22, 2021,[6] and November 11, 2021[7] are the only days since mid-2006 in which no SpongeBob-related material aired on the main Nickelodeon channel.
- However, SpongeBob did air on Nicktoons on January 22, 2021.[8]
