— Near Mint Comic Books cashier to SpongeBob in "Sing a Song of Patrick"
Character

The Near Mint Comic Books cashier is a fish who first appears in the episode "Sing a Song of Patrick."

Description[]

He is a light blue fish who wears a light tan shirt, dark brown shorts, and rectangle-shaped glasses. He has a blue dorsal fin.

Role in series[]

SpongeBob SquarePants[]

"Sing a Song of Patrick"[]

He is working at the cash register at the beginning of the episode. He later asks SpongeBob if he is going to pay for the stack of comic books he is holding. SpongeBob says no because Patrick took his $100 bill from his wallet when it dropped on the ground. The cashier kicks SpongeBob out of the store upon hearing he cannot pay.

"What Ever Happened to SpongeBob?"[]

He appears to be a citizen in New Kelp City and can be seen in the background when CheeseHead BrownPants is being celebrated as the new mayor of NKC. He attends the ceremony and can be seen in the crowd listening to him make his speech.

"The Card"[]

SpongeBob and Patrick are at the comic book store where SpongeBob is buying Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy trading cards. The cashier tells SpongeBob about a rare holographic animated talking card and how there are only five in existence. SpongeBob buys nearly every trading card in the store in a quest to get the rare card, but is unsuccessful; Patrick buys the last card pack which has the rare cards in it.

"Squid Noir"[]

He only appeared in the rough storyboard alongside Incidental G5 and another fish when Bubble Bass presents his suburban dad doll to them. In the final storyboard and the finished episode, he and the other geeks (except for Bubble Bass) were replaced by different new fish.

Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years[]

"Hot Pearl-tato"[]

Him, Nerd 2, and Incidental K2 appear as paper cut-outs on a board game that Kevin, Bubble Bass, and Harvey are playing.

The Patrick Star Show[]

"Bummer Jobs"[]

He is one of the customers SpongeBob is responsible for bagging the groceries for. However, SpongeBob ends up smashing the groceries, and makes a paper hat out of the bag with the groceries inside, and puts said hat on the customer.
