Proposal

I think that all officially known episodes should have full admin move-protection. After all, there is no point of moving the really real known episode names without any major event happening involving the need to rename the articles of the episodes. I don't want another mess of the vandal pagemoving of episodes happening ever again. Qwertyxp2000 II (talk | contribs) 08:57, December 25, 2016 (UTC)

This is a very broad request and solves a very small problem that can be easily fixed.

The problem in question is people renaming episode pages that have confirmed names. However, this can be reverted by those who have the ability.

My problems with this proposal are:

  1. New pages cannot be edited by users who have less rights than admins.
  2. Old pages cannot be edited by users who have less rights than admins.

These two problems are big becuase when an episode is new, then it needs to be edited to fill the required information and when an episode is not new, then some references and other informaion about the page can be added.

Also, you, yourself, seem to be maybe going against your own proposal by saying that there is no point in moving pages with an event happening.  120d  Talk  Contribs  12:56, December 30, 2016 (UTC)

Move-protect means to only give the ability to rename pages to admins, so the episode pages will still be editable by non-admins. This is just to prevent trolls from renaming episode pages.  Nicko756 (MCE) Sign!Dp  18:11, December 30, 2016 (UTC)
