Proposal

I simply propose that audio transcripts of articles are added to certain articles. Here is what one for "Help Wanted" would look like: I feel as though it would be useful to have these, especially for long articles, as this would deliver all the information on the article without the user having to read it. - The gamer 987654321 (M.W. I really agree with this plan, unless copyright issues have to also do with audio. If not, we can later make also, for foreign languages!! Tilde GreekFlagWaving150Nickmick (MCEB) DirtySquid2 10:46, 26 February, 2017

Copyright was a concern I had as well. On the sight I got the prototype from, fromtexttospeech.com, it doesn't really say much about copyright. It does say "Convert any English text into MP3 audio file and play it on your PC or iPod," which does give off the impression that you are allowed to use it for things like this, but the there is a copyright tag saying how all rights are reserved to them. That basically contradicts what was said above, as if they literally meant that all rights were reserved to them, then you wouldn't be able to use it at all. I'm no legal expert though, I really don't know. - The gamer 987654321 (M.W. B. C.) 10:57, February 26, 2017 (UTC)

If we use Text-to-Speech, with some words the text-to-speech software can mispronounce it.  SpongeBot678 (MCE)  26th February 2017

Yeah, the text-to-Speech software isn't fully reliable and if this is added to the transcripts to a particular episode, the transcript would not be fully accurate.  HannahRae (MCE) O 10:59, February 26, 2017 (UTC)

It wouldn't be added to transcripts. The gamer 987654321 (M.W. B. C.) 11:47, February 26, 2017 (UTC)
