Proposal
Here is Cans' original proposal.
Hello. I think that this template should be allowed to be used on articles. It would be used for online game articles with online games that don't exist anymore. It would also add the cateory: "Articles with unavailable online games."Thank you. ❧Cans48❦(talk) 02:46, August 26, 2016 (UTC)
This online game article contains an online game that is no longer available in the United States. Please take note of that. |
There were several concerns about this: this is not a maintenance template, there may be controversy over whether or not certain games are available or not to certain users, and edit milking.

- Oppose - there are just too many issues with this. The main thing for me is that this is not a maintenance template, so we should not treat it as one. It makes the page look like it needs work, when in fact it may not. These kinds of templates are supposed to be temporary. — AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 03:41, September 5, 2016 (UTC)
- Support - I never said it was a maitenance template. It would be somewhat of a warning. --❧Cans48❦(talk) 03:43, September 5, 2016 (UTC)
- Oppose - this isn't needed. plus, the quote is inaccurate. ѕqυι∂∂ℓєωαя∂ ❮мεssαgε ωαℓℓ ● cσηтяιвυтισηs ● ε∂ιтcσυηт❯ 03:44, September 5, 2016 (UTC)
- The quote can be changed. --❧Cans48❦(talk) 03:46, September 5, 2016 (UTC)
- that's not why i'm opposing. i was just pointing that out. i would still oppose if the quote was corrected. ѕqυι∂∂ℓєωαя∂ ❮мεssαgε ωαℓℓ ● cσηтяιвυтισηs ● ε∂ιтcσυηт❯ 03:48, September 5, 2016 (UTC)

- Support - I don't see why we can't have this. trevorontario w c clickme
- Oppose -Is such a template even needed? I mean, this online games that aren't in the United States. There are episodes in the series that no longer air in countries and we don't have such templates for them so one for online games definitely seems unneeded. - Neutral - There are also online games outside the US. Luis~SBCA M C 07:25, 04/19/2024

- Oppose - I don't think we need a template for this. I agree with AMK. I think an alternate solution would be just adding the fact that the game is no longer available within the article itself. Another solution is a category called, "Unavailable games" or something like that. 120d Talk Contribs 21:06, September 6, 2016 (UTC)
