Introduction

We had a discussion on trivia guidelines back in December 2012, but it was cancelled due to lack of participation. I would like to bring up trivia as we do not have any guidelines of what is and is not allowed and most of the time people will add and take away the same things over and over again. Also, some of the trivia may be just deemed rediculous and we need to clean up those articles.

Initial draft

The following is only an initial draft. You can give your input into additions, removals, etc.

• A. Acceptable - the following list is acceptable trivia, but this list is not limited. They are merely examples.

• 1. Revealing of new information about certain characters
• 2. Running gags
• 3. Errors (in their own section)
• 4. Cultural references (in their own section)

• B. Unacceptable - the follow list is unacceptable trivia, which should be left out of the article or placed elsewhere on the wiki.

• 1. nth time character X does/says X
• 2. References to appearances of characters (we already have character appearance lists and the character list for each episode)
• 3. References to similarities between title cards of different episodes
• 4. References to music (these belong in the music section)

• a. This includes saying that music track X is the same music used on episode X - music is reused, so this is really pointless.

• 5. Discontinuity should be left to the List of continuity errors articles.
• 6. Explanations of jokes.
• 7. Explanations comparing the series to "in real life" situations, logic, etc.
• 8. Plot details (they belong in the synopsis section)

• Oppose - Change -I don't like the part about explanations of jokes not being allowed. For some people myself included an explanation of a joke helps make it understandable and funny even. Auron ⚡ Yeah, that's right baby! Welcome to my locker! ⚡
