Introduction

Over the course of a few days, I noticed that Jon Satos has only been on when SBCA was on too. They also have very similar behaviors. Due to this, I got suspicious; this isn't the first time we've have a possible socking case. After much thinking, I contacted staff asking if the two are in fact the same person. Sean responded back to me, with unfortunate news. He responded with this: link
Jon tried to deny this by saying Luis shares wifi with him. Because of this, I petition that SBCA be removed from his admin position, and blocked for a short period of time. Jon has been overreacting about the accusations on Skype, saying that we are cyber-bullying him. It's very unfortunate to see an admin sock like this.

Proposal

As said above, I propose Luis is demoted and faces a short block, like we did with the last sockmaster. We may possibly need a future discussion, like we also did with the last user.

• Torn -I really don't know what to say about this... honestly if it is indeed a sock then I believe they should at least confess publicly as I did. there are also some things that don't make sense, Jon and Luis had different IP addresses when I used skype resolver last night, Jon has also stated that he sometimes piggybacks off of Luis' internet, if this is the case, yes it would show them having the same IP address, just like if using an internet connection at Starbucks (public WIFI Hotspot).

There was also some stuff in the chat room about a flood in the area, doing some detective work I uncovered this news article

In the skype group Jon states he didn't see Luis at school yet in the article it says schools where closed, so how would Jon know this if he wasn't at school?

There isn't much news that matches the time frame between when Luis cut out and when Jon makes some rather frightening statements about Luis. If the condition was as bad as Jon says, why is there not tones of articles in that time frame?

As for the sockpuppet situation it's self, I honestly feel torn part of me wants to believe that Luis is inoccent but the evidence is there.

Luis if you are reading this, please confess trust me on this one, the longer you wait the worse your going to feel, I understand what its like to be in this situation. Also, the longer you wait the more those around you are going to hurt. Apologizing is the first step towards regaining lost trust, while it may not feel like much it's the least you can do to repaiur hurt feelings. for me, If you confess and apologize I will forgive you however you have broken my trust, apologizing would be the first step in repairing that trust. Comment - I haven't been around much recently, and I don't plan to stick around, but I do want to say this: A CheckUser on an account reveals everything. IPs, browsers, computers... everything.. When the two accounts matched, it's not because they just shared the same Wifi - they shared everything. And since SBCA and Satos have not said anything about sharing a computer, it's clear that this user has been using a meatpuppet/sockpuppet account to cheat their influence on this wiki.

The fact that SBCA would stoop so low to commit this horrible action is downright unprofessional, corrupt, and to be frank - stupid.

SBCA: If you have any dignity left, you should resign right now, and accept the consequences for your actions. Joey ^(talk)
