Introduction
This is an idea to replace the "Ideas for ESB" threads and the ESB:Suggestions page. It is a way to discuss various suggestions and ideas on an individual basis, without waiting for a meeting to discuss them. This discussion will end on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at 7:25 p.m., eastern time. — AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 00:24, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
Proposal
The proposal is as follows:
- A. General
- 1. Petitions are a way for any user to bring up an idea/suggestion/complaint before any discussion phase.
- 2. This prevents certain unpopular/unnecessary topics from being discussed in an official format.
- 3. This allows all ideas/suggestions to be discussed in their own space and outside of chat meetings.
- B. Process
- 1. A page will be created for all petitions to be added and listed.
- 2. Any user can start a petition.
- 3. Once the petition recieves three (3) endorsements from the community, the petition can go to an offical discussion.
