Proposal[]

Recently, I have come across several objects that appear numerous times in the series and I think that they should have subgalleries because the galleries would be too big.

If this passes, there are two different possibilities for the location of the Gallerymaps. If this discussion passes, then they will appear on the gallery pages. However, if it does not pass, then they will appear on the main page. An example of this can be found here: User:120d/Krusty Krab Employee Hat

An example of what a subgallery would look like can be found here: User:120d/Krusty Krab Employee Hat/Help Wanted

This discussion will end on December 26, 2015 at 5:00 PM EST.

I find this to be a good idea on specific objects that have very big and numerous appearances, but of course, not all objects shall need this. I also think that we should only have this on objects that have at least two or more episode/video game/movie appearances. TheJonahReport M C 02:21, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

I agree. Focus (on me.) 10:15, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

I also agree. In particular, an article like Krabby Patty would benefit from having such a gallery. I also agree that we should do this only for objects that appear often. — AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 15:50, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

Eh...I'm sorta in the middle with this. It does sound like a good idea but not many items are very frequent. The ones I would think of right now are the Krabby Patty hat, the spatula, Squidward's clarinet, and the Krabby Patty. Can't really think much of others that are very frequent in the series. I would even say we come up with a predefined list of which objects should have a subgalleries and if anyone feels we should add something to the list, we can do that. — AMK152 (Wall • Contrib) 15:58, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

Ah. Okay then. ZeoSpark  Talk  Contribs  Edits  16:14,12/16/2015

Created concern: Is it really needed?

While I can think of people wanting to look up episodes a character or location appeared in, I don't know why they'd want to do the same with an object. Your example in particular, the Krusty Krab Employee Hat, appears in almost every episode the Krusty Krab does, and it doesn't really change with each episode, making me doubt that readers would be interested in looking through a subgallery based on it, or any object for that matter. ~JCM 21:04, December 16, 2015 (UTC)

I'm seeing where you're going with this and I'm leaning towards your statement. TheJonahReport M C 05:39, December 17, 2015 (UTC)
